Summer Chalk Festival

I’ve recently found that I REALLY enjoy doing chalk outside , it’s a good way to get out of the house and enjoy some middle space for me.

Anyone else into or been getting into chalk recently ? It would be cool to see what other people have done with their sidewalks.  

I’ll share what I’ve done so far :

That's really cool. I used to draw with chalk when I was younger. You're a much better artist than me, haha.

This cute little old lady stopped by when she was driving past our house , just to tell me she wished she could take a picture and she was sad it was going to rain tomorrow washing away all my hard work. I told her it’s okay ! That just means I can do more soon :3 She was so so sweet. 
 

I decided to do Plankton today to keep up with the SpongeBob theme. 
Dad did a monkey , and Brother did an alien !

Guess who did more chalk this weekend 🐒 

I got very very sweaty and a sweet lady drove by and said when she walks her dog she loves seeing my art , that makes two ladies and the kids that walk by and take pictures :3

😕 Disappointed. The black I was gifted was broken and powdery so the colors don’t look as nice as I would like…. But here is Courage the Cowardly Dog.

This weekend I decided to do The Powerpuff Girls , I am of course always Buttercup :3

It’s chalk season again !!! 
 

I did Cartman from South Park and Krillin from Dragon Ball Z. 
 

Neither of them turned out how I wanted 😪 But that’s okay ! I’m really low on the colors I need so I made what I had work , and a friend came over to visit with my family so I kind of rushed the end of Krillin. 
 

I got a little burnt , I got to cuddle Buddy and she gave me TONS of affection :3 it was a nice day and now we get to meal prep and make dinner.

A lady driving by stopped me and made sure to tell me she loves my art and she takes pictures of it 🥰 I love doing small things like this for the community and it’s even better that this one was inspired by one of the sweetest humans. The kids are gunna love this one.
