What's the "thing" you gravitate towards?

This is completely random, more of an interest question. I noticed that there really are specific "things" that I'm really drawn too. Candles, stationary, journals, etc. What really got me thinking was my lip balms obsession. I'm always grabbing new ones,  maximizers, packaging, flavors, etc, the special flavors that come out at Christmas. All of them, so many! At one time I had five cherry 🍒 ones. Part of this I'm sure is because my lips are my favorite facial feature, but it's also just something I'm drawn too that's not anything major.

So, here's my question. What's your small, but drawn to "thing"?

Oh gosh. As someone who's very prone to obsessions, I constantly have to keep myself in check to not over accumulate stuff! I would say my "thing" is likely stationary, especially if there are cute stickers. I'm doing better now in that I will actually use some of those stickers rather than just keeping them forever. But cute stickers are just.... so dang cute! And notepads that are multicolored or cute are also pretty irresistable to me. I suppose it's a good and bad thing that America doesn't really have good stationary stores like Asia. 😂

Since your obsession is lip balms @MissNMTX, is there any brand/specific one that you find works really well in the winter? I find wax ones don't work well for me and I tend to like ones that are liquid or like a gel.

@MysticSand Stationary is definitely another of my "things" there are some great English ones that ship to the US 

In the winter, I actually like the Vaseline lip care products. Not fancy, but cute mini packaging. I have the rose and cocoa butter ones.

I'm beginning to think this question only works for people who enjoy or are "collectors".

Vaseline! Yes! That's what I use at night but for whatever reason it's really hard to find the tube version of it because I don't want to use the little mini-tubs that require a finger to apply. I just looked online now and it looks like maybe I just need to order some online.

Have you ever tried K Beauty lip balms? I've been liking those because their stuff is similar to vaseline in that it's in a tube in petroleum jelly form. And some of them are tinted and scented too!

@MysticSand I would never call myself a "hoarder" but I do like to "collect" things. I think really its a control issue, but as long as it's quirky fun things it doesn't really bother me.

Mines the same; chapstick..!  😂💋 - I have random different kinds, in different places; a bathroom one, room, vehicles; bf's vehicle lol, and never ever leave the house without!

I definitely gravitate towards good pens, markers or color pencils and journals and post-its. I'm a big pen thief and I have probably close to 300 color pencils all different brands and types.

This is really tough. I'd say...stationary (pens and journals included), socks, or little tech gadgets.

For me I am addicted to scents.Especially ones from my childhood/teen years. Shampoos, hair sprays, perfumes, scratch and sniff stickers, I am obsessed right now with Apricot, Coppertone Lotion, Finesse Shampoo, Coty's Wild Musk ( women),chocolate, Pink Sugar, Lavender. Next month it will probably be something new. tee hee. ☺️

These are very old but I hear they still make them. I LOVED them as a kid. Village Lip Lickers. They were AWESOME. I loved the Vanilla, Strawberry, Root beer and Spearmint.

Oh wowz! Probably stationary (especially journals & pretty paper), pens (I'm a pen thief too 🤫), colored pencils, snow globes! And I love dishes (pretty ones, practical ones, little ones with dividers). 😁

If I wrote more I think I would be addicted to stationary. BUT...I AM addicted to thank you cards and notes! The prettier the better. Scented is an added bonus. I LOVE giving thank you cards to show how grateful I am for things people do for me or give to me. Even if they just made me smile, I want to give a card. Filled to the brim with rose and lavender flowers, glittery things, the works. I do steal pens though but only ugly ones from doctors offices LOL. I will work on that.
