There are a couple ways to add pictures to the gallery.

  • Go to the gallery
  • Select Add Images
  • In the 3 options given select Create New Album (because you don't have one yet)
  • Add a name for the album and click Create Album
  • A window will open and you can start adding images
  • When you're done click Submit All Images and let them load

Alternate methods

On Mobile

  • Go to your profile page
  • Click the Plus Sign +
  • That will open a shortcut window where you can create any of the following
  1. Status
  2. Topic
  3. Gallery Image
  4. Event

On mobile

  • Click the 3 bars in the upper right corner
  • Select Browse
  • Select Gallery
  • Select Add Images
  • In the 3 options given select Create New Album (because you don't have one yet)
  • Add a name for the album and click Create Album
  • A window will open and you can start adding images
  • When you're done click Submit All Images and let them load

On pc

  • Scroll to the top next to your username and click Create.
  • Then select Gallery Image
  • In the 3 options given select Create New Album (because you don't have one yet)
  • Add a name for the album and click Create Album
  • A window will open and you can start adding images
  • When you're done click Submit All Images and let them load

Once you have an album you can add to it the same way just select Use Existing Album instead of creating a new one.

I do not recommend using the 1st option that pops up of Continue Without Using An Album

That will post to basically a community gallery and those images will then be shown as an album in everyone's albums list. So anyone will be able to add to that album.

Question about adding pictures to the gallery, what size (width x height) in inches or pixels is best to post? Thanks.

I usually post as big as possible. That way they can be opened on pc and still look good. A lot of mine are for the coloring contest and I want people to be able to print them clearly on an A4 page. So bigger is better.

I found this for a reference of what pixel sizes will print what size image.

Are we allowed to upload PDFs? I have some awesome spooky coloring pages I wanted to put up from my new Halloween books, but wasn’t sure how that worked or if we were allowed to put them or if there’s a public gallery to add them to for everyone. Thanks in advance!!

I think you can add a pdf in a thread. You can create a thread and give it a try. I don't think the gallery will accept anything but image files.

This is probably user error. I tried adding one on mobile in a post and it says just the one picture is over 750kB and cannot be uploaded. When I go to my gallery it only gives me the option to upload via URL, which still won’t add any image I’ve attempted. Is there something I am missing. I’m sorry to be a hassle.

On mobile click the + sign at the top of the page.

Under Create New you should see Gallery Image. Click it.

You should see Choose Album. Pick Create new album. Type in a name for the album and click Create Album.

Now you should see a page with a + sign so you can add pics. Click the + and your device should give you the option to load from your camera or files. If you're using a pic you already have saved click Files and then select your pic/pics. Then click submit all images.

Once the pics load into your album you can share them anywhere on the forum.
