First date this Sunday...

Not sure where I should post this, but I'm meeting my girl on Sunday and would love any tips or advice. We are both very shy but really into each other so I'm trying to make our first meeting as relaxed as possible lol

Date plan- meeting my princess at the train station, then a short walk to get lunch at a super cute cafe, it's sanrio themed with characters like Hello kitty!

Then we will walk down to the beach, and go to Sealife if we have time! It closes early on Sunday though, so as backup we'll go on the pier for donuts/candyfloss and I'll try to win her a stuffie, or we can just get snacks  and hang out on the beach, we can take cute pictures and look for cool rocks 😊

To end the evening we will go to a gamer bar with arcade games and boardgames! And they have sea views!

At the end of our date I will walk my princess to the train station and text/call her on her trip back home.

What do you guys think of my first date?

Not too much?

I want it to be relaxed and friendly, and I want her to feel special without putting her under pressure ♡

We are fairly close. Train journey is only about an hour, so we are not too far!

Also, I am not officially her daddy yet, but we have both consented to using pet names as friends for now . She knows I call her princess ^^

Aw, it sounds like you've put a lot of thought into your first date!  Yes, it sounds like a nice, relaxed date with lots to see and do.  That's a good thing if you're both shy.

You seem to have really considered the needs of a little and thought about things a little would enjoy the most.  Oh, I hope you win her a prize at the pier, that would be so cute and romantic.

I don't think you need to worry about putting her under pressure.  It's clearly about having fun and enjoying each other's company.

Sounds like you put tons of thought in to it.my advice would just be you don't fore conversation let it be natural things will be good then I am sure

I think that sounds absolutely amazing!! And good for you for putting so much thought into it!! Sounds like the two of you will have an amazing time together! I would take it as it comes...if you two are laughing talking and having fun doing one of those activities do not feel like you have to move onto the next thing. Enjoy each other, laugh, giggle, and have an great time!

I love how much thought and consideration you put into this. This alone speaks volumes. My only suggestion would be to not put the activities above the conversation. If it so if you end up spending more time in the beach, so be it! Also, I kinda love the idea that rocks and seashells can be trinkets from your first date.☺️

Just echoing @MissNMTX, don’t feel like you can’t go off-script if the day / your chemistry just flows that way. (I’m an anxious overplanner so I can’t even accept my own advice, but still! 😛) And it’s always ok to check in about how the date is going! Totally fine to say “Hey, just wanted to check in — are you enjoying yourself? We can keep doing X here, but I also had an idea to move onto Y next.” I think showing both the forethought and the flexibility are huge pluses. ☺️

Yeah the flexibility thing is definitely something I'll be keeping in mind! And I will certainly be checking in with her, she's excited to visit the area so she may even see somewhere else on the way she wants to check out which is absolutely fine with me! ^^

The weather is supposed to be mild/sunny, so we'll probably spend most of it on the beach.

I've discussed alot with her already and we both want the same things so this will hopefully give us a good feel of how we'd work together as an in-person dynamic ^^
