I made myself this scrub that feels SO GOOD! It's a lovely way to exfoliate and moisturize your skin. I thought I'd share the basic recipe.

Β

:heart:Β 2 c granulated white sugar

:heart:Β 1/3 - 1/4 c almond or coconut oil

Β

Add the oil slowly and mix well until it has a soft consistency. You can pick various scents of your choosing to include such as essential oils, coffee grounds, cocoa powder, citrus juice, vanilla, etc. There are so many variations and combos here! Such as using brown sugar instead of white. Just have fun! Once your ingredients are incorporated, pack the scrub into a container with a lid.

Β

I like to massage the sugar scrub onto dry skin first. It's best to keep water away when scooping out the scrub because the sugar crystals will dissolve and harden afterwards when wet. I suggest using the scrub in the shower or tub. Then, rinse it all off with warm water. Use anywhere on your body except for sensitive areas. Most of the ingredients area edible (save for some essential oils) Enjoy!

Β

Do you have a similar recipe that you like? Is there another ingredient you recommend for different skin types? I have heard of an oatmeal scrub which I haven't tried. Share thoughts below, please.
