Little going through a rough patch

First off, I don't know whether this should go in the caregiver cafe or here. Maybe a bit of both.

As the title says, my lovely girl is going through a rough patch. So clearly, she needs extra care. But as we're in a budding and long distance relationship, this isn't very easy. Of course, as CG I try to provide moral support, but that's about all I can do. Which is frustrating as hell.

The problems (fortunately nothing really serious, but still), make that we can't be in touch as much as I'd like. I'm a bit afraid that in the early stages of our relationship, this is detrimental to strengthen it it. Or, maybe it does strengthen it, just because of the problems we try to weather together?

Anyway, this isn't really a question, but more a bit of venting.

I think whether it can help or hinder depends on how you handle it together. If you don't handle it well, then the lack of spending time together can hurt. If you can both handle it fairly well, then it just builds toward a stronger foundation.
