CoffeeTori Posted March 29, 2023 Report Posted March 29, 2023 Hi, everyone! I'm rather new here so I don't know if I'm posting this in the right section, but I noticed there was a coloring contest in this category. I enjoy doing contests like that but realized due it being pages online, others may have trouble entering this contest since not everyone know how or even where to do digital art. I just wanted to offer the link below for anyone who may have wanted to get into digital art (or animation) but didn't know where to go. The link below is to a program called "pencil 2d". It's a free program you can download that allows you to draw digitally. You can create onion layers, which are a fancy way of being able to draw or color something one layer at a time without effecting the other layers. You can use different sized brushes and an array of colors. It's able to be pressure sensitive if you have a stylist or drawing pad, but it's also able to be controlled from a regular mouse. Here's the link: Pencil 2d Anyway, I figured I'd post this here because with this program you can import the coloring pages from the contest and color them digitally and then export a jpg picture of your work. You can also look up tutorials on youtube if you're struggling with using this. I hope this can be helpful for anyone who's wanted to get into digital art. 3 1
