So I'm turning 19 this Saturday and I've been a little for quite a while now. I've been asking for a few things little based but now I'm older and it seems a bit childish to ask my parents for more coloring books and Stuffies. any ideas?

Do you know what their response might be? If you're not sure or feel very much you'll get the 'You're too old for that' response, you could ask for money or voucher you can redeem at a store that sells colouring books and stuffies.

Joanne is spot on, the number one gift as people get older is normally money.  You can then spend it on what you want, if they feel money is a thoughtless gift then you can still ask for what you really want and ome back to us with their reaction then maybe we can guide you from there.

I'm turning 19 on Saturday too!! We are birthday buddies! I think it would be easiest to ask for money and then just buy whatever little things you want with it, like the others said

I agree with the gift card. Some people feel it is a thoughtless gift, I think it's much better to let them get what they REALLY want vs. what I think they want.

Money or gift cards. Can not go wrong. People say gift card not personal but think it is as allow the person to truly get something that will bring them joy.

Well Happy Birthday ヽ(´▽`)/ ♥ I hope you have a good day. I'd ask my parents for coloring books, a cute stuffed toy, crayons and other such childish things (nothing like binkies or sippy cups) but I'm pretty close with my parents. They've always told me never grow up and your only as old as you feel. But if your not comfortable with your parents, money and gift cards have pretty much become the go to gift idea. 。^‿^。 I hope your have a great 19th Birthday
