BaldRunnerGuy Posted March 17, 2023 Report Posted March 17, 2023 So I 'met' (online) a wonderful little a few weeks ago and we've been chatting. It's progressing, albeit slowly. I fully know and understand that this goes slowly. I'm ok with that. I'm patient. This sort of relationship takes a long time to grow. However, I'm curious how often y'all chat with each other? It seems in this specific relationship that we're on completely opposite schedules. I'm a morning person and work an early shift. She's a night owl and works a late shift. We send messages back and forth but have yet to line up a voice call. Between work and sleep, we can never work it out. I'm starting to get a little down thinking it's never going to line up. 1
beanbean Posted March 17, 2023 Report Posted March 17, 2023 Every relationship is different and you guys seem have really different schedules, but if it bother you talk to your little and try to work something out
HugsR4bears Posted March 17, 2023 Report Posted March 17, 2023 hmm I don't have experience with an online relationship with opposite schedules but my partner used to work night shift so I can relate, although it's a bit easier when you live together. I'd say try letting her know how you feel and seeing if you can make breakfast time function as quality time/ date mornings? 😅 I think both parties will need to make some sort of sacrifice, either waking up earlier or staying up a bit later, it takes a lot of work for any relationship, more so when you're on opposite schedules, best of luck to you! 1
Guest UnicornPuff Posted March 17, 2023 Report Posted March 17, 2023 My Daddy is in the UK and I live in the States and have a six-hour time difference, but we make it work. I don't mean to be discouraging but I think it depends on patience and how much both people want to make it work.
MissNMTX Posted March 18, 2023 Report Posted March 18, 2023 Through the years, I've talked to people all over. Overseas and such. If you really are dedicated you can make it work. It may require waking up a bit earlier or sleeping a bit later, but once you find the rhythm it's much easier. Bonus, we s types love waking up to "good morning" messages! 2
