I have a habit after making a meal to go freeze the leftovers. I struggle to eat the same thing the next day or in time before said leftovers spoil in the fridge.ย ๐Ÿ˜– Soups, casseroles, sauces or whatever. If it can be stored in the freezer for at least a month, I'll throw it in there! Then, my appetite/taste for such food renews itself after a couple of weeks and I have less work to have it again. This can be a bit like those frozen dinners but are homemade with ingredients I have more control over, have better taste, and better nutrition. Don't forget that it saves ๐Ÿ’ตMONEY๐Ÿ’ตย There is a grocery store near me that puts out fruits and veggies on clearance that are ripening too fast. ๐Ÿ›’I like to swipe some of that not only for my guinea pigs and sugar gliders to enjoy but to also freeze for myself. It doesn't have to be cooked food, just raw ingredients that are cut up to stay in the freezer until I want to use them.

Fruits I will bag up to keep in the freezer. They can be portioned out for smoothies like so.

Most of the time, I just keep my smoothie ingredients in categories that I can grab handfuls of and put in the blender. For example: ๐ŸฅฌGREENS๐Ÿฅฌย ๐Ÿ“BERRIES๐Ÿ“ย and ๐ŸŒBANANAS๐ŸŒ
