Littles Weekend in Washington State Peninsula (ideas wanted)

Hi everyone!

I'm So Excited!! 😁 Every year my best friend and I celebrate our Friendiversary. Last year was our 5th but due to covid we couldn't celebrate.. So this year I'm planning on making it big! We're going to be taking a trip to around the Port townsend area, and I was wonder if anyone had any recommendations for fun things to do/see around there. I'd also love any ideas on little things we can do for a littles themed sleepover.

I'm so blessed to have a best friend like them! They've had a really hard year and neither of us have had much time for little activities. I want to make this the best Friendiversary possible for them, so no idea is a bad idea!

Thank you in advance!

Sounds cool! I recommend staying at Manresa Castle. I've not stayed there myself, but I've seen it and my mom has stayed many times. She loves it.

This site has recommendations for things you can do. Lots of neat outdoor activities (Olympic National Park is amazingly beautiful, I love the rain forest). You can also explore Fort Worden state park, whale watching (depending on time of year), have high tea, the marine science center, Wilderbee Farm, Northwest Maritime Center, wildlife cruises,

Also maybe enjoy some ice cream and chocolates if you two like that?

I hope you both have fun! I used to live in northern Washington, but now I'm in the SW Peninsula in the Long Beach area.

Thank you so much, the recommendations were super helpful.
I was hoping we'd be able to stay at The Manresa Castle but I wasn't able to get us a room. We're planning on grabbing dinner there and then hit up Elevate for ice cream.
I didn't know there was a high tea in the area, I'll have to check that out too.

I'm hoping to spend as much time in the parks as possible. I know I always feel so much better after heading out that way; which I don't get to as much as I would like.

I spend a lot of time in the Long beach area. I love it out there.

Thanks again for the recommendations!

Enjoy High Tea
Grab a few moments to relax and enjoy a cream tea or high tea at Cafe Tenby, 636 Water Street, 360.385.6060,
https://www.cafetenby.com/ High tea includes tea sandwiches, fruit and plan scones with house-made clotted cream and jam, plus a selection of pastries and seasonal fruit. And, of course, tea! Make it “royal” with a glass of bubbly. Available by reservation on Saturdays at 12pm & 2pm and Sundays at 12pm. Cream tea is available any time and includes two scones with clotted cream and jam served on pretty china with a pot of tea.

Sounds really fun!

How did it go ? My little and I haven’t been back on the peninsula since during the height of COVID and want to go back for a vacation weekend. Any suggestions ?
