Trouble managing one's big and little self

Hi hi everyone, so over the last couple days I've been having kind of a hard keeping my two sides controlled. Yesterday I was really struggling to go into little space and let my little side out ,and today I've been struggling to stay out of little space even if I need to be cuz I've gotta be around people. Idk what my deal is. Idk if it has to do with my few days of bad depression. Or what. Sorry of this is a weird post, just seeing if others have struggled with this , and what they did to help it.

I've been there too, it's hard to take control when something else is happening (like depression, anxiety, ptsd...).

I use to talk to myself as if I was a baby, for example: "I know that you are sad, but you can't do that here... you can do it at home, ok?" and I promise something like "If you don't do ___, we can watch cartoons at home, ok?".

If you have been feeling really depressed, you must choose an hour or a day to relax as a "little", so your mind will not need to do it when you don't want it.

(However, I think you should relax as and adult too... doing things like self-care, cooking...).

Or... you can also be a "little" in front of others with "adult stuff", for example: coloring mandalas... it might help. ☺️
