What This Community Does For Me

I want to say thank you for the good people here (even if you struggle to think of yourself as one). When I get those white knuckling moments that I'm triggered and then start spiraling with my bad thoughts, I bring to my mind this community. I think of the new friends I made and tell myself there will be more amazing people I have yet to encounter in this big world. It helps me to hold on a few more minutes in order to ride out the storm. I am then able to get myself to a safe place without resorting to bad coping habits. It's scary but I made it out. This has happened a few times the past several months since I joined. Tonight, was another episode. I thought I would let this community know, truthfully, what it does for me and the difference you all are making. Big, small, heavy, light, serious, silly, direct, indirect... all of it. 💗 This place really helps. Thank you. Keep doing what you do.
