There's clearly a wide range of relationship dynamics under the ddlg/cgl banner. Some seem strongly BDSM oriented, but others appear mostly affectionate and doting.

Poll is up to get a rough idea from the community.

Thanks to everyone that took the poll. 5 isn't a huge sample, but still interesting that only one relationship is high-dom.

Wonder how it compares to other formats of BDSM relationship.

I really want to answer this, but it feels too broad to me. Each dynamic is so specific to the people involved and can change so much based on so many things. Time, investment, needs, etc.

exactly everyone is not the same ,we all need different things its not one size fits all ,each person got to look for what fits for them

That's a good point. Not much is static in any relationship.

“Stereotypical” BDSM is what led my submissive wife (and now little) and myself to DDLG, but as far as scenes anymore … that’s waned over time (I think partly due to aging, but there are other factors as well).

I don't feel like I can answer this honestly at the moment just because I'm not in any sort of relationship. I can say that in the past my relationships heavily leaned towards BDSM with smatterings of DDLG.
