I was in need of a distraction this afternoon...

 

I keep finding these super cute bows, hair ties, and hair clips online and they're like $8.00-$10.00 for just one! So I figured I'd give it a go at making one of my own.

 

This is made out of felt, glue, jewels, and an alligator clip. 

 

Does anyone else make their own accessories? I'd love to find someone I can share ideas, tips, and templates with!

That's cute. I've made hair bows out of ribbon, hot glue and bobbie pins.

 

I had this old halloween wig that had pigtails with skullbows. I cute the skullbows off the wig and hot guled them to hair ties.(I did this when I was like 15/16 and even thu I've lost one of the hair ties, the other one is still holding together fine)

 

I like pins. You know, the cute round butten pins? Anyway, I'll add them to hairbows(store bought or maded), pin it right on the knot of the bow. It can be very cute.

 

Also I like sewing cute charms/old ear rings/necklaces, into my hair as hait charms

Ohhhh that's a good idea! I have lots of random charms floating around I could add to hair stuffs....

I made alot of hair bows with ribbon and barrets, my friends and I had to make a mini business in school last year and we made a hand-made hair bow company   we specialized in hair bows made out of Duct-tape and made around €40 selling them at school events, we also won an award in the county Student Enterprise Awards for creativity   I was CEO and head of production:p
