🎄🌟

I love how easy this one is… you can use any flavor or color of candy melts or chocolate, and any flavor of Pocky, and there are so many different ways to decorate them! 🥰

Old family recipe from my grandmother. These smells DIVINE! Every year it's a tradition to make a gingerbread house and cut out ornaments to hang up on the Christmas tree.

🤎GINGERBREAD🤎

1/2 cup shortening

1 cup brown sugar

2 tsp baking soda

2 tsp salt

1 tsp cinnamon

1 tsp ginger

1 tsp cloves

1 tsp allspice

1 1/2 cup molasses

2/3 cup water

6 1/2 cup flour

Cream shortening and sugar together with a beater. Add water in next. Sift the dry ingredients in a separate bowl till mixed well. Next combine with the wet ingredients. Let the dough stand or rest in the fridge for 1 hour. Roll out and cut into shapes to make a gingerbread house, cookies to eat, ornaments, or whatever you'd like. Bake in the oven at 350 F for 10-12 minutes.

🤍ROYAL ICING🤍

3 egg whites at room temperature

1 lb or 4 3/4 cup powder sugar

1 tsp vanilla

1/2 tsp cream of tarter

Mix all ingredients with a beater for 7-10 minutes. Pour into a piping bag and start decorating your gingerbread!

This could be for any time but since we are in the Christmas season and I just saw this on instagram I had to share.

Mini S'mores Pie

Ingredients:

  • Small graham cracker pie crusts, they came 6 to a pack like they knew 1 wouldn't be enough
  • Chocolate chips or some sort of chocolate candy bar
  • Mini marshmallows or you could cut up larger ones into small pieces

Instructions

  • Place the chocolate into the pie shell, if using a candy bar break it into pieces
  • Top with mallows, don't be stingy
  • Bake on a medium heat (350 - 375 F) or (177 -190 C) until everything is nice and melty
  • Turn oven on broil until mallows get a nice shade of toasty. Please be careful, we all know mallows are flammable!
  • Grab a spoon and enjoy, careful it's hot and sticky
