Our new book selection is...

"What can you do with a general" by Emma Cline. This selection was suggested by Sir North and they will be receiving a badge to display for picking our story.

So we will start immediately. Below was a link provided for us to read for free! I want all of you to read until the sentence "At four o clock" then stop and we can all discuss! So for all of you reading this make sure not to read any further on this post until you are caught up. I wouldn't want any spoilers!

Another question is that I have considered reading and recording our selections for people. Please let me know here if that is something that interests you.

We will have 8 days to read the selection. So on November 28th I will release the next chunk for us to read.

I am looking forward to this and hopefully we can all have fun and read some good short stories.

Yours,

Pigtail

Gosh this story is triggering me so far which is a bummer and very unexpected, lol. Sometimes the most subtle details or mundane things can bring back unwanted memories. But I do enjoy the author’s writing ability.

Aww I am sorry gigi! Feel free to not read this one! We should be done in a few weeks and maybe you could find something more lighthearted and suggest?

All right all who are reading welcome back!!! So here is our next section! Read from "four o clock" to "Chloe set the table"

I am doing small sections so people don't get overwhelmed. Also below is the selection that I have read and recorded.

Please feel free to bring up some discussion topics as I feel after this chunk there is some stuff to talk about. I have some random award badges waiting so make sure to be active!

Welcome back to all who are reading "What can you do with a General" by Emma Cline. For this selection we will read from "Chloe set the table" to "The next day was Christmas eve"

Just a small warning there is some bits about not healthy animals but I think it should be ok for most.

I really actually think the pet thing could be a good discussion topic. Let me know what ypu guys think. This selection will be going until next Monday when I will read the next excerpt. Hope you enjoy this as much as I did

I got started a bit late.. I had so many questions as I was getting caught up. I love that tho. I love when a book can really get you thinking. I honestly never considered the point that John makes about us saving our pets being selfish.

Ok everyone thank you for being patient! Between my birthday and the holidays things got busy. But I havnt forgotten you!!!

Here is the final installment of "What can You Do with A General" by Emma Cline.

Trigger warning there is mention of pet death, self harm, and some language. But it isn't anything I think you guys should need to worry abput. It's very brief.

Feel free to discuss all of it now that we are done. You can even go tbrpigh and listen all together if you like and then post your thoughts.

As I mentioned in the reading we will be doing something surrounding DDLG/ABDL this time. I am going to look on Wattpad and whatnot but am also taking suggestions (there is a special badge for whoever suggests the short story we choose!).

So I will see you in the next post!
