Hello all and welcome to November. Thank you to all who participated in our Spooky Season. Sorry it didn't quite finish up, I had a tragedy in my life. But no worries I am back and want to offer you guys more fun.

So in that spirit I am on the hunt for our next read. I have asked for suggestions in the past and not gotten a ton so here I am sweetening the pot a little. There is a "I Picked" badge that will be awarded to the person who's suggestion is picked. Rules are as follows:

1. You can enter however many titles you want.

2. Each story must be a short story. This is to make it more inclusive.

3. Feel free to suggest SFW and NSFW. (On that note please all let me know how you feel about a naughty or nice book)

4. If it has already been suggested the first person to suggest gets the credit. But we would love to know you enjoyed the same book.

5. Be prepared to tell me where to find it.

6. Please include a brief description.

So to suggest just comment below. Can't wait to read with you 💕

This would be for book club so it wouldn't nessasarily be me reading them. Although if there was interest I could see myself reading experts! Thank you for your condolences and thr compliment

I was visiting my storage in my parents' basement and got distracted by the stash of books still there from childhood. Winnie the Pooh I pulled out to read to myself at night as that's one of my comfort stories 😊🍯❤️🧸

Haha no worries. I know lots of people read originals on Wattpad so maybe that is a good route?

I recommend "What Can You Do with a General" by Emma Cline. It is SFW. It is set in modern times during the Christmas season. The protagonist, John, is an older man that has gradually seen his influence decline after he has retired. This is especially true for his influence within his family. It is a great read and is available for free in word and audio online. Here is the link: https://www.newyorker.com/magazine/2019/02/04/what-can-you-do-with-a-general
