Under the Sea

When I bought my new home I realized I wanted to make my bedroom my little place, okay, technically the whole second floor but especially my bedroom. So I decided I wanted "bubbles" on my wall so I could feel like I was hiding under the sea maybe with Ariel. This is how it came out. 

 

The hanging chalk board I made out of a piece of wood that was in a package I received. I painted it with chalk board paint and used brown and green rafia to make the hanger. At the time I had a Daddy and he is in the military so I wanted my colors to represent the colors of his uniform. I also have his deployment patches attached on the top and bottom left side. 

 

Yup, that's my cat Penelope snoozing there on the bed and my Disney movies in alphabetical order in my movie rack.

 

Does anyone else have special wall in their bedroom or somewhere else?

I used to have an entire room to myself that was filled with my little life. I think I might redecorate in the next few months....
