Can’t send friend request

Wondering if there’s just a restriction a new accounts sending friend invites or if I’m just missing something obvious. It just doesn’t seem to be an option. Any information would be helpful.

Friend requests are no longer a thing on this forum. To communicate via private message you have to follow a user, be approved by them, and then they have to follow you and you have to approve them.

Just some info:

The techs behind the forum platform used made the choice to remove friends, our moderators cannot change it. Our moderators have turned off automatic follow-back to give each user control over who they follow and who follows them. So, it is a bit tedious, but it’s how it works for now.

As for following just go to a member's profile and you should see a button marked "Follow".

Hello! When it says, "pending followers" and has the ✓ & x... What does it mean?

✓ means accept

x means deny. But once you deny someone they can never ask again so a lot of people will leave someone pending until they get a feel for who that person is.

Thank you Sir! I keep clicking the ✓and it tells me it can't be undone if i click it. Is that normal?

It is normal.

The developers really need to work on that and a couple other things but that's out of our control.
