Unique fruits and veggies !

I love finding unique , exotic , or weird fruits and veggies to try. It’s really fun seeing something I’ve never had before and grabbing it to try right when I get home ! 
 

There’s people on this site from all over the world , so I figure there’s all kinds of unique things from everyone’s different regions. 
 

What are some cool things you’ve tried and suggest if someone ever sees them ? 
 

Mine is Moon Drop grapes 🤤 I found these a few years back along with this companies other flavor grapes. They have gum drop grapes , cotton candy grapes , and a couple others I think.

There was an old lady, that I use to work with, that called these Witch Fingers 😆 or something. I like Moon Drops better. This is a fun topic! I'll have to think about what funky vegetable or fruit I have encountered to eat. 😁

::giggles:: I find huge green grapes at the store every fall/winter that are called “Hobgoblins”.

I knew about these, but have never seen them in stores anywhere what do they taste like @DaddysMonkey, just regular grapes?

The ones I had were very firm, crisp, and soooo sweet. For me, that is *the* perfect grape! They were the best grapes I had ever had, and I always look for them, but have yet to find them again.

It’s harder to find them in regular stores , I find them every now and then at Fred Meyer. I have the best luck finding these at farmers markets or local farms  and to quote lilbitz below , THEYRE SO GOOD. Whenever I see them , I buy them. Easily the perfect grape for me as well , crazy sweet but have a snap when you bite it. Food is very entertaining for this monkey 😅 If I had to describe the taste I would say a mix between grapes , plums , and apple almost too.

I was surprised but our store had these for a couple weeks and I ate my fair share. I love these grapes. We also had dragon fruit last week. Not sure where they are getting this stuff because it is so out of character for our town. But I am loving it.

Okay I don’t know if I’m just getting the wrong dragon fruit or maybe it’s just me , but dragon fruit tastes like crunchy water. IT TASTES LIKE NOTHING ?!

I didn't buy the dragon fruit. I'm not sure how to tell when they are ripe and they were $9.99 each. I can buy like 5 pineapples for that and I know how to pick those.

Okay , if you didn’t know me very well…. I am a Monkey through and through. Which means , I FUCKING LOVE FRUIT MY GOD. Specifically I had a major fixation on gold kiwis this summer. Well guess what mother fuckers ! THEY MADE GOLDEN RED KIWIS !!!!! 
 

I bought two containers in case I fell in love with them … and I did. They look so pretty ! And they taste like a mixture of kiwi , banana , and strawberry. The texture is the same as regular kiwi !

These grapes look normal, but the name got my attention. 👀 A couple weeks ago I saw green ones called Cotton Candy. I meant to take a photo, but I ate them gone before I could remember LOL They are that GOOD! normally I don't like grapes because they are sour or bitter with no flavor. GumDrops were just on sale and I had a sample 😋🍇 These are such a good alternative to candy.

We have rambutan. It's like hairy little balls🤣 but tastes like lychee
