Jewelry I'm not big into until I discovered ✨crystals and gemstones ✨ I love rocks and having them made into pendants, bracelets, or rings that I can wear. I'll be sharing bits of my collection here and the meaning I have learned behind them. This hunk of a crystal is the well-known and popular 🌹Rose Quartz🌹 Its energy is connected to the heart chakra.Β πŸ’— The color pink is associated with friendship, love, emotional healing, and kindness. It can be used to enhance the love within your heart towards others but also love towards yourself. A tip about this crystal is to NEVER put it in direct sunlight or that beautiful color will fade. Also, the quartz can act like a magnifying glass and be a fire hazard (that has happened with crystal balls made from quartz and other clear gems).

p.s. and that black choker is my die-hard scrap of accessory I made nearly 20 years when I was a teen.Β πŸ˜†Β I think it was my emo phase. It's simple ribbon but I LOVE it.

A new piece of jewelry that I got for myself as a gift for self-love is a jade bracelet. I wanted something different than the usual clasp or elastic kind because those tend to wear out on me. This ALMOST was a flop because I guessed the size on the diameter that would fit over my hand when I ordered this online.Β πŸ˜… I didn't want to bother with returning because this particular Etsy shop had a very limited supply plus I want to support their cause. So, I just used some soap and water to barely get it on. I am ok with this because that means I'll have abundance and luck FOREVER!Β πŸ’šπŸ’š

The green color of Jade is associated with wealth, prosperity, self-love (heart chakra), luck, and energy of the EarthΒ πŸƒ

This is a piece of pounamu, a sacred greenstone of the Māori people from New Zealand. It is quite similar to Jade. Several years ago, I got to visit the gemstone city, Hokitika, where they harvest from the streams there. There are symbolic shapes that pounamu can be carved into according to the Māori culture. This is a simple scrap/leftover piece which is still beautiful and full of meaning for me. I pick out stones that speak to me regardless of shapes and sizes. Pounamu is a symbol of strength, wisdom, and courage.
