Sporadic home haircuts.

Heh….. hello Klub Kidz.

I had a very chaotic weekend , and I’m just now starting to get my social battery up to around 80% and it keeps filling up. LETS GO BABY. 

Normally when I get really manic , I make slightly abnormal decisions regarding my physical appearance. I’ll shave a cut into my eyebrow (not in a long time) , randomly cut my hair up and shave bits and pieces or bleach and dye it crazy colors. 
 

After my chaotic and draining Saturday , I went on a walk Sunday. My hair has been getting longer even though I got it cut recently and the wind was blowing the little pieces into my ears. NOPE HATE IT. I got home from my walk , went upstairs and told Dad to buzz and cut my hair. I quite literally told him , “ Buzz the sides of my head and cut my hair up. Make me ugly. Make me…. ZEFF. “ 

 

So , he did 😎 

Would you ever let your Caregiver or little cut your hair for you ?

I’ve cut Dad’s hair in the past and it turned out great , he liked it and got a lot of compliments on it which was pretty sick since I’ve never gone to school for it. I’ve gotten a lot of compliments on my hair as well the past couple days. He killed it !

I am not adventurous with my hair in the slightest. Ever since I saw Princess Jasmine brushing her hair in that Disney movie I have always wanted super long dark hair like her! So, the only haircuts I feel safe with are the regular trims or touchups. My goal is to get my hair down to my hips but it's such a struggle for it to remain healthy and strong enough for that length. 😞

p.s. do you have pics of your new do? 👀 You can't just brag about it and then not show proof here!

I had given up years ago on going and getting it cut by someone. Last time I went somewhere I  paid a lot for a cut I hated because she didn't know how to deal with my thick wavey hair. I ended up doing my own hair and got it how I wanted it. Now I have it long I just trim it from time to time. I don't really want anyone doing my hair.

I’m back with another home made haircut ! 
 

Except this time…. It’s not me that got a haircut. It’s @Expired that got the cut. He let me do kinda whatever to his hair 😇

There’s kinda not a lot of pictures of his hair so long , but here’s the before : 

 

I taught myself how to cut hair so I don’t think it’s too bad.

Finally remembered to take a selfie of the home haircut I do. ✂️ I took myself to a hair salon last year after avoiding them for nearly a decade. That visit reminded me how much I don't care for salons in general. I can't stand how they talk to me, and I rather just do it myself. Probably will be another 10 years until I venture back into one LOL 😄 I need to invest in getting a nice pair of scissors specifically for hair cutting.

You can see the difference on the ends after I trimmed one side.

Then I followed it up with deep conditioning! I try to remember to apply a bit of hair oil each week on the ends.

i love home haircuts! the more unhinged and manic the better lmaooo

i dont remember the last time i had my hair professionally done, i usually just chop it off when i get too bored or i need a sense of control over my life. messing with my hair always makes me feel like a new person. and thankfully curly hair is pretty forgiving to strange and terrible haircuts. i wanted to do something different, other than just going super short again. i'm getting mixed reviews in real life, but idc much cause i think i kinda look cool lol

thank u! everyone loves this shirt, very nostalgic~

i'm still getting used to the hair style, someone said i looked like ramona flowers from scott pilgrim vs. the world. love that for me lol
