Online Shopping Fail

Not my worst fashion blunder but my most recent one. Buying clothes online are always tricky for me because I can't get the sizing right and honestly, not all measurements are equal in women's clothing. ☹️ This little dress fits great up top but down towards my derriere it becomes so tight if I don't keep tugging it down, you'll see my skivvies! Looks super cute from the front and I love it! Then I turn to the side and it falls apart 😭 Gonna have to return this one. Phooey!!

@andrielisilien your disappointed face is so cute 😭what a bummer ! I have to agree with @ChubbyMoonie though you still look adorable …… but I can totally tell if you weren’t in the hide the booty hunch over position there would definitely be some cheeks exposed ! Lol !

Turns out I can't return the dress. 🙁 It's from DDLGVerse so anyone that orders from there be wary. I guess that means I should try altering it to fit my pear-shaped booty that refuses to be contained. Another sewing project to put on the shelf 😅

I’m not sure how you feel about crop tops , could you possibly crop the top part and make it a longer skirt somehow ? I imagine you have the same booty related issue as me with overalls anything , lol. If it’s not the correct length , any movement means the butt is coming out OR it it literal prison for my butt and thighs and I feel like a sausage.

I remember that I made this post about the pink dress. I altered the skirt bit to give room that's more flattering for my body type. The seams up the sides were unpicked and I figured out a triangle shape to sew in extra fabric. The waist and top were totally fine; just the hip area. I'm really happy how this came out!
