So I got called into jury duty during one of the most challenging moments in my life. In order to stay some what sane during this time I'm try to put together a list of ways I can destress and treat myself.

What to you do to spoil yourself after a hard long week? What do you like to do for self care?

I'm a big sucker for retail therapy. Doesn't have to be anything big or expensive, but doing a little Amazon shop or stopping at a Barnes and Noble can help wonders. I also really love doing the standard self-care stuff -- face mask, bubble bath, etc. A little treat like your favorite drink from Starbucks, or a snack from the grocery store is a good way to reward yourself, too!

I get me a snack I don’t normally have and watch a Disney movie/“window shop” online. My SHEIN bag is so unnecessarily full… 😅😅

Write in you journal.  Say how you feel, confused, overwhelmed, however you’re feeling.  Jury duty can be boring, with ridiculous rules.  For a reason, you have to sit in judgment of another human being.  It’s hard.  The evidence presented is sad, it’s so hard to believe that people can do that shit in real life.

Shift into your everyday mode for the trial.  Hold onto clarity.  It’s important. ..  just tell yourself that.  So try to get a good night sleep, be good to yourself.  Don’t go down the rabbit hole.  :)
