Gnome House Pumpkin

To make:

• Cut a hole in the bottom of a medium-size blue Hubbard squash; scoop out the pulp and seeds.
• Cut out the door and circular door window.
• Etch lines in the door with a linoleum carving tool, and insert toothpicks (shortened if necessary) to create window frames.
• Lightly draw flower design on either side of door with a pencil, and use linoleum carving tool to etch out.
• Insert the door into the opening and hold in place with toothpicks.
• Hot-glue mini glass balls or colored beads into acorn caps to create lights; attach to pumpkin with hot-glue.
• Cut half to two-thirds off of a wood round; attach to pumpkin, above the door to create an awning.
• Cut a hole in the bottom of a small brown or green acorn squash; scoop out the pulp and seeds.
• Cut a circular window, and insert toothpicks (shortened if necessary) to create window frames.
• Lightly draw flower design around window with a pencil, and use linoleum carving tool to etch out.
• Stack pumpkins and add wood round steps and leaves or any other decorating ideas you might have.

Cat Face Garland

To make: 
1: Print cat face template which is located below the picture as a pdf file.
2: Using a white pencil, trace the template onto black card stock and cut out desired number of faces.
3: Fringe the sides of the cat's face and the top of its head with scissors.
4: For each cat, cut three pieces of black waxed twine, about 4" long. Knot them together in the center of the twine, and glue to the cat's face as whiskers.
5: Toward the horizontal center of the cat's face, use a standard single-hole punch to create holes for eyes about 21/2" apart.
6: Hang string lights and position cat faces on 2 lightbulbs, one in each eye hole.

These are so freaking cute you guys are giving me so many neat ideas of decorating I definitely will be gathering supplies I'm epically bad about over decorating for Halloween and Christmas anyway

As long as you can still walk through the house and from the house to the car there is no such thing as over decorating. If you have to crawl over stuff to get somewhere you might wanna get a bigger place and keep decorating 🙂

I think the pill bottle idea is cool.  I have a habit of keeping jars and containers. I might make some fun things likke that with the jars I have.
