Best Bed Times

Like any rule that Daddy and I have they are set together by the both of us. Although I may be a little I am also an adult and the rules we have need to respect who I am as a whole person and not just one part of who I am.

As for the actual bedtime it is 2230 hrs on weekdays and 2300 hrs on weekends and holidays. These times let me stay up late enough so im tired enough to sleep but not so tired that I wake up cranky or still tired.

Same for.my baby girl, cause if she doesn't sleep she becomes a real BRAT

I currently don't have a bedtime. I work third shift and so have a very different sleep schedule than my Sir. That also means that sometimes I need to stay up in the mornings to do certain things (cause offices are only open the times I'm usually sleeping) so it's not a feasible rule for us. Like Little kaiya said, I still need things to respect who I am as a while person with adult responsibilities. At some point in the future we may try to set a more concrete schedule for me, but it'd be once I change jobs.

Daddy talked about imposing a bedtime but I am naturally really good about going to bed and I work early so I have an early bedtime. When he talked about bedtime at first he mentioned setting it at 11… that’s funny bc my bedtime goal is around 8:30. We decided I didn’t need a bedtime rule.

Daddy and I actually have a joint bedtime to keep Him on track too! Mine is at 1 am right now, and eventually, we'd like it to be midnight or earlier, but it's a slow process to work to on a reasonable level. It's always, always better for both of us when we go to bed on time and wake up on time together -- FaceTime calls are a life saver!
