Coloring book recommendations?

Currently in little space, so apologies if I'm not explaining this well.

I'm looking for something based on like...slightly realistic/mature folklore stuff like faeries, goblins, and the like.  Not the super simple kind because I end up finishing them too fast.

The only ones I've been able to find are like $25+ dollars and I'm stubborn about paying so much for one book. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Do you mean more detailed like Adult Coloring books? I know Dollar Tree has a couple of those but I don't know about the theme you are looking for. Maybe try Pinterest?? I have gathered free coloring pages there myself.

I got my fairy and celtic knotwork ones from Amazon. The fairy ones were about $9 and under depending. They have a nice range of "easier" to more detail oriented. The two fairy ones I have were by Molly Harrison. Hope this helps!

Check out mythic world and mythomorphia. I think you’d like them. I have some scans I could send you also if you wanna try it out

You can also type into google ( search engine you use) what theme of coloring pages you are looking for( fairies, gothic, kitties, etc) and print them yourself from the public domain. I had trouble spending $$ on books only to do maybe half of the book as the other pictures in it didn't interest me. So I started printing my own from "images" in the public domain. Always careful with copy write issues. So if you have a printer, black ink and some paper to spare this may be a thriftier more personal option for you. :)

Happy coloring!~

I'd love that, but I don't have a printer anymore 😕 it's a great idea though, maybe I can save some up so when I get a new one I have plenty to do!

I end up paying for them than make personal photo copies for myself so I can color the pictures again and again. Amazon has been the best luck for me but I'm in Europe so not many options.

Hope it helps!

Sounds like the idea that works for you :)  Another piece of random advice that I have taken for myself: Some public libraries let you use their internet for free, you have to research. The few that I used in the last many years, didn't charge for their copies either if it was within reason ( say 10 pages or less). If you are a book reader like I am, this is another service your local library can offer for you to get those much needed coloring pages.

Good luck~ and keep smiling.
