Tattoos or piercings?

i have both my ears and my seconds done on both ears plus my tragus on my right! so 5 on my ears and i had my nose done once upon a time but my nose is so tiny it just didnt look right! ,y face is made for looking cute and not sexy or edgy so none on my face would ever suit me but i've booked in for my first tattoo! it's going to be a red spider lily on my side just next to my boob. with the flower part filled in with like a water colour/ splatter effect

My first tattoo was moon and stars on my hip that I did myself when I was 14. Thats probably the most meaningful one. I have eight others. The second most meaninful one is lyrics "Cast your demons aside, keep them close enough to know what you're running from."

 

As far as piercings, I had my eyebrow done when I was 14. I took it out in September. I currently have my navel, tongue, nips, and clit hood done. I did my nips myself, but I went to a shop for my hood. I'm glad I have all of them

i have a nose ring in my right nostril and the words "dismantle repair" on my left and right wrists respectively. 

 

i got the nose ring because i'd wanted it for a long time and i wore a fake one for about a month beforehand and loved so i made it permanent. 

 

the tattoos are a little more complicated. dismantle.repair. is the name of a song by one of my favorite bands, anberlin. i am also a recovering self-harmer and my left arm is the one with all of the scars, so i got dismantle on that wrist. my right arm has little to no scars, so i got repair there. i did it that way because to me it's like i'm dismantling and then slowly repairing.

 

i really want to get 'no power in the 'verse can stop me' somewhere to signify i'm strong and powerful and unstoppable and i also want to get full sized violin f-holes on my back making me look like a violin to signify that i am a violinist and my love of music.

I have two tattoos and four piercings. I am saving some money that i can take third tattoo. And some courage to take piercing in my neck.

Well I really like the idea of a dragonball tatto.

So the idea is to have the dragonballs on my lower back and then like shenron rising up from them up my back an over my shoulder on my chest

But I'll toy around with some smaller tatts first, I like tatts to be awesome looking but still meaningful . As for the dragonball idea, I just think it'd be awesome xD

I have a tattoo I got in college that I'll always love! Two of my favorite things ladybugs, and four leaf clovers. Plus, never tell me I'm all talk and no action...ha!

 

I was actually talking last night about two more I want to get, he didn't say if he liked tattoos or not, but he asked a lot of questions.  If there done right they can be beautiful, sexy, and expressive which is kind of the point! I like tattoos on guys too , again if they're done well.

 

I love the idea of tributes to your animals. Though the thought of losing my puppy girl just slays me so I'd better not.

There's got to be someone else here with tattoos and/or piercings. Does anyone have a tattoo that is significant to them or something that is really pretty or awesome? I'm a fan of both tattoos and piercings, I prefer tattos though, I'm done with piercings.

 

My latest tattoo is very special to me. It's a paw print from my beloved doggie I lost in July. Taken from her actual paw, tattooed onto my leg with her name "Lucy" underneath.

 

I'd love to hear about others.

 I have 3 holes in each ear, my belly pierced and my nose. I also have three tattoos. One on my belly, one on my wrist and one on my ankle.

 

Belly- is music notes and a cresent moon, I'm a witch and love music. Words hold power and the moon is very dear to me and always has been. The music notes circle my belly button. 

 

Wrist- The deathly hallows symbol from Harry Potter. I've been into it since I was 6 or 7, so it's been nearly my entire life. No reason not to get it. 

 

Ankle- A portal from the Valve game Portal. I have the orange one with the head coming out and my best friend has the blue one with the feet. It's our first paired tattoo and we liked the idea because even though they go together, they can also stand alone.

Stomach: Large snake weaving in and out of the skin

Piercings: 3x right lobe, 2x left lobe (was 3 too til it got infected ), used to have my right helix too but that also got infected. I currently have my nose pierced (left side) and it's definitely my favourite as it adds so much character and it's one I've wanted for ages. It hasn't completely healed despite getting it done over a year ago (guess I have very sensitive skin/low healing time) If I healed better, I would love a rook, left nipple and belly button piercings. 

 

Tattoos: none yet, but do have some in mind that I want

Tattoos:

I have four tattoos at the moment. They're all Harry Potter ones since I'm a huge nerd. I have the dark mark, 'mischief managed' across my wrists, and the pottermore Slytherin crest on my right thigh. That one still needs to be colored in though. I also have 'crucio' written on the back of my neck with a healing rune underneath it from The Mortal Instrument series as a reminder that no matter how painful something is, it'll get better and you'll get through it eventually as long as you don't give up.   I have a lot more I wish to get though. Just so expensive. 

 

Piercings: 

I have a left industrial piercing on my ear, both ear lobes pierced. But I would like to get a conch and tragus piercing, naval, and nipple piercings at some point.

I only have one tattoo; I'd like more, but it hurt so bad! I got it last year on my left shoulder, and it says "I Solemnly Swear That I Am Up To No Good".

I'm obsessed with the Harry Potter movies, but suck at reading, so I wanted to reward myself for finishing the first book. I want "Mischief Managed" on my wrists when I finish the books

 

But I love tattoos on a guy. I like guys with an appreciation for art, and I think it's a great way to express yourself!

I love tattoos and piercings so much. (I am really picky on style which is part of the reason I have yet to get any tattoos).

 

I pierced my belly button (or tried to ) in middle school but obviously it didn't turn out well so I took it out and thankfully it didn't scar. (Not one of my brights moments)

 

But at 19 I got my Monro piercing and I love it still. (then my ears are done and I had to get them done twice cuz I let them close up before lol )

I wish I had the courage for piercings or tattoos. But I could never find something I liked well enough to have for a long time.

 

But tattoo art is breath taking. Without being invasive, I'd love to see the pieces some people have gotten!

I used to have my ears gauged, they still haven't completely closed up from before but are much smaller from the 00 that I had. I also had my lip pierced for years before I took that out and I do have one tattoo across my collarbone that says, "I am my own woman. First, last, and always." It's a quote from the Black Widow because I am actual Marvel trash.
