PrincessMuhree Posted June 20, 2022 Report Posted June 20, 2022 How to balance little space and parenting ?
WigglyBun Posted June 20, 2022 Report Posted June 20, 2022 I'm not sure how you feel about scheduled time, but I'm sure that can help. Set some time aside when the kiddos are possibly asleep (not sure their ages) or at a friends house, etc. Where you can have little time. Or even plan activities that you can do with the kiddo(s) that can be little space time for you too. Make a blanket fort and watch a movie with some snacks, maybe do some arts & crafts, etc. Other than that I'm not 100% sure what else to tell you. The post is a little bit vague. Are you struggling with anything in particular? 1

I’m just getting started so I’m still figuring like EVERYTHING out lol That's fair enough! I'm sure it's quite the learning experience!! I used to watch my nephew almost full time when he was a baby & toddler and I would often make sure to set aside little chunks of time to be little for myself while he napped because I needed my little escape too! When he got a bit older we would have movie dates and each bring our favourite stuffie at that time to "see the movie" with us, make popcorn and have juice boxes and some little prepared snacks to snack on. Sometimes we would build a blanket fort beforehand. He is almost 9 now so not quite as little, but we still curl up sometimes for our movie dates, or we have arts & crafts afternoons and it's an hour or so where we both just be silly and enjoy being a child. I'm sure you'll find a good balance as you go, and I'm sure others here will have ideas to pitch in too!
PrincessMuhree Posted June 21, 2022 Author Report Posted June 21, 2022 I love it 😍 I honestly do the same thing , just didn’t realize it was okay/ counted lol
WigglyBun Posted June 21, 2022 Report Posted June 21, 2022 I get that! It's totally okay, as long as the kiddo(s) needs are being met and you all enjoy the time together it's a win-win! 1
