Deadheads of DDlg

Hello! I was just curious: Does anyone else here like the Grateful Dead? I’m actually wearing a Grateful Dead shirt right now.

I’m asking because I grew up listening to the Grateful Dead, so listening to them now often triggers my middle space. I was just listening to their performance of “Candy Man” at the Winterland Ballroom, San Francisco in 1970. It’s the exact version I used to listen to, and it instantly put me in middle space when I listened to it just now. I was wondering if anyone else has experienced anything DDlg-specific that’s also related to the Grateful Dead.

Also, I love how the scene unites young and old people. I’m very attracted to older men as well as older people in general, so it totally works for me.

Keep truckin’!

i'm not one, but i feel exactly this way abt juggalos, it's j such a perfect lil tight knit community, the older juggalos r the sweetest most welcoming ppl, n i love how much they've taught me over the years..

n i completely am the same way in the sense that some of the music totally makes me feel small, it's j so silly n cute i can't lollll

Rush and Nine Inch Nails are the only T shirts I've ever worn from a band. Mainly since they were the first I ever saw live.

Hmmm, not the GD.  But yes, there is music that puts me in little headspace rather quickly. Then I start dancing and bopping and singing and have so much fun :)!  Stuffies do it for me, too!  giggle  I saw one and he was super squishy and he fit right pewfectly on my chest and I squealed and squeezed him so tightly!!! I was so happy in that moment!!  And then I wemembered covid and thought "uh-oh, somebody might get mad at me", so I put him back right away. That part made me a little sad. Not to mention I practically outed my little girl right there in public. (palm to forehead) There's a happy ending though; somebody saw my reaction and he's mine now! Happy Little with a new stuffie! hehe
