DaddysDemonBabygirl Posted April 13, 2022 Report Posted April 13, 2022 I just wanted to know how other littles and middles liked Tamagotchi Pix, the most recent Tamagotchi to be released. I currently live in a situation where I can’t have an actual animal as a pet. Lately, I’ve been rediscovering the Tamagotchi universe, which led me to consider getting Tamagotchi Pix. If you’ve played it, was it hard to take care of in your everyday life? I know there’s a babysitter option from 7 am to 6:55 pm, so that helps. I figured it’d help to hear other littles’ and middles’ opinions on it before spending money on it. Thanks in advance!
Plum Posted April 13, 2022 Report Posted April 13, 2022 I got one from my Daddy for Christmas. I enjoyed it a lot, but I feel like it's a little bit limited. The babysitter option is awesome if you have a 9-5 type job and can't play with it during those hours, but you do need to play some games with it to earn the money in game to do so. The touch buttons are a little wonky and sometimes don't register which can make it a little bit frustrating to play certain games, but it's only minimally detracting. The camera is also really meh. There's a cooking mini-game where you're supposed to take pictures of food (or whatever really) and it pulls the main color as the ingredient for you and Tama's dish. It almost always pulls red, white, or gray though. I had to resort to taking pictures of plain color swatches from online to unlock all the meals haha. I'd also suggest getting batteries that you can recharge for it as well. Otherwise, the costs of battery replacements can get really annoying. Or get like... a bulk pack of AAA's for it.Overall I give it a 7/10. There's a lot of room for improvement, but it's still well worth getting one if you're really into Tamas. :3 1

Thank you! 1
DaddysDemonBabygirl Posted April 20, 2022 Author Report Posted April 20, 2022 In case anyone is following this - I decided to hold off on getting the Tamagotchi Pix for now. I'm doing this because they're releasing a new version of it in July 2022, so I'd like to get that one instead. I'm hoping I can be a good Tamagotchi parent!
