Are there any littles who are more on the alternative side? If so, what do you like to do in little space?

Posted

Hm, I'm not sure if I'm on the alternative side. I like geeky things, but I also see myself more as a middle not so much of a little. However, I do know there are littles that like a lot of stuff that isn't typical for little space. :3 I think you'll find some other littles how have stuff in common with you.

I guess it really depends on what you mean by alternative little. Like, I enjoy being a little princess, but at the same time, I also like superheros and other geeky things.

I consider myself an alternative little. There are a lot of BDSM and M/s elements incorporated into my dynamic. While having little-time/being in little space, I like reading about serial killers (all my stuffies are named after one except if they're from a show or something), I like watching Tales from the Crypt, Are You Afraid Of The Dark, My Little Pony (both the older gens and FIM), Gravity Falls, Law and Order;;SVU (yes, even while little) and plenty of other shows. I do like coloring but sometimes I'll add piercings or tattoos to whatever it is that is on the page. I prefer Grimm's Fairy Tales over the Disney versions. I also love reading comic books, having Daddy read me books about space, watching super hero movies and playing NES and Nintendo 64 games on my computer's emulator.

I'm definitely alternative. I love metal music (Kamelot Nation!!) and tend to be on the gothy side as far as dress. Daddy and I are what he calls "Halloween People". We like to work in haunted houses and scare people. >:) I'm still kind of new at it but he's been doing it for a reeeeally long time. We wait all year long for October and have a lot of fun making scary art. <3

We both love video games, Lord of the Rings and we're getting interested in the SCA (Viking personas). We're big nerds and I love it. :3

not sure what you mean by alternative but ill try my best :))

i never really identified as a little girl/boy as ive never really felt like i should be rigidly either throughout my entire life since i am pansexual (although i do use the pronouns she/her) so sometimes i wear TMNT panties and spiderman undies and i like watching gargoyles hahaha! but at the same time i love wearing dresses and princesses.

and my daddy and i bedroom wise do use bondage items, but theyre on the cuter side. like pink fuzzy cuffs, and pink collars, and pink ropes, and things with little hearts on them so i still feel cute all the time!!

i like video games (most nintendo and open world games), learning about serial killers and the mentally insane, reading, learning, watching documentaries.. basically everything ive liked since i was an actual kid!!

i dont go into the state of being a little, ive always been this way and now ive found a title and a home :)

My alternative side like, comes and goes though?
some days I like cutesey pink, even when not in little space
Other days I like wearing all black and looking more alternative, and I notice that I don't really go into little space then, but more of kitten space.

Victorian Goth and a Bittersweet lolita. I enjoy Doom Metal, Viking Metal and Folk Metal as well as Techno Swing, Oldies and Classical. I love body modifications and am planning to have 11 piercings and 14 tattoos (Ironic as to 11/14 is my birthday). I am also planning to do traditional corset waist training once I get the money for my first one. I'm also a huge nerd. I like comics and super heroes (Marvel for the heroes, DC for the villains, I love Dark horse comics too). I also enjoy video games, anime, and cartoons. Daddy plays Warhammer and I want him to teach me how to play, but he has been a total butthead about it. He is also an andro goth thing (Easiest explanation is he is Grell from Black Butler). I love the creepy, macabre and all things horror. When I'm in little space I always want to watch Sweeny Todd, Tank Girl, Practical Magic or Repo The Genetic Opera. (Daddy is my Mr. Todd and my Graverobber) I have my moments of the need to watch cheesy b rated horror movies in little space too.

I switch between cute stuff and horror. Best definition is pastel goth/ creepy cute I suppose.

I'm pretty alternative for a "lg." I identify with a college girl because it was a time in my life when it was okay to be one minute into adult things and the next watching cartoons, shopping for stuffed animals, and drinking chocolate milk under a blanket. I think reading about and watching things like serial killers can be very "lg." It reminds me of being a kid and sneak watching or reading scary stuff like that under the covers at night. For me, studying or learning anything is "lg" because it reminds me of being in school or going to the library after school. I love being a student. If I had the money, I would always be a student in a class. There are about three or four degrees I would earn just to be a school girl. (Since I don't have that kind of money, I "settle" for being a college instructor/writer and am thinking of a career switch to librarian/writer).

I have always enjoyed alternative music and rock. I listen to pirate metal, edm, i love all things halloween. I lot of my bows and accessories are halloween colors and consist of kawaii bats/skulls/spiders. I enjoy geeky things. Im a fangirl in anime, supernatural, super heros, and fantasy. I like gothic lolita fashion and corsetry. I like morbidly kawaii cuoture. if i was a 5 yr old in this genre of kids monster high

That's beautiful c:

I actually really like Monster High even now.

I like people's repaints of them.

I'm into alternative fashion so I guess I am. I'm really trying not to come off as a special snowflake with my statement because there's no "right" little; we're all people with varying interests but sharing a niche, common interest. I wear lolita and once in a while wear punk or goth outfits (I have very few unfortunately) even though I don't fit the image that well. I've also worn a couple creepy cute outfits. I'm also into body modification with an ever-growing list. It makes me happy so that's what matters.  Did I mention I adore bats?

I'm into a lot of typical "little things" though, like Disney, Hello Kitty, My Little Pony, etc. but I also really like spooky stuff. I love reading paranormal stories, both fiction and non-fiction. I'm actually a huge scaredy cat so that's pretty funny. I love The X-Files a lot which by some strange twist also brings me into my love for astronomy. While I can't say I believe in the stereotypical little green or grey men, I have no doubt that there's life existing in other parts of our universe. There's about 40 billion galaxies, so the possibilities of life are endless, especially as new stars form over time and gather matter to create more planets.

Whoa I had no idea you like viking and folk metal. So do I as well as melodic death metal.

Bruh melodic death metal <3

Our interests sound pretty similar tbh

I'm actually really happy to find something like this.
I'm defiantly alternative for a lg.
My wardrobe has been dipped in India Ink, and if anything white has survived, it won't for long with the on coming assault of red fabric paint.
I'm defiantly a gothy little.

I love all things halloween, bats (hint hint username xD), skulls, and the like.

And while I can't sit through a horror movie, I can create creepy with the best of 'em.
I'm also a nerdling, I play D&D, Dark Heresy, and once I get the funds and time I'll be learning to play Warhammer 40k!

I love comic books, manga, anime, and dorky kpop/jpop music.
I adore lolita fashion, strega fashion, mori girl, kawaii, and similar but I always want to put a dark twist on them when I can.
I have a tattoo and slowly designing my next, am perfecting the black nail, and bat wing liner, and learning how to be spooky and sweet at the same time.

I love goth. That used to be a huge trend back in the 1990s when I was in college. I wasn't goth because I was more into the alternative/grunge music and fashion, but I loved hanging with the goths.

I fluctuate between girly and goth.

I love halloween and stuff and bats and taxidermy.

But I also love super cute femme pink things xD

Chesh and I are pretty much twins. XD IRL we even look alike. In fact the first time we met we were wearing the same pants and Invader Zim shirts.

I love alternative stuff especially due to rejecting the princess ideal as a kid. I grew up in the woods. I loved my overall shorts as much as my princess dresses. I'm still very much the same way. In little space I love playing with what would normally be classified as 'boys' toys. Although I do have a HUGE soft spot for stuffies and a love for dolls.

Most of my coloring books are for comic books and super heros instead of disney princesses and other classically girly things.

On a side note Chesh's bows and stuff and my pillows and blankets we made a business for and its called Morbid Cuddles due to the amount of spooky things while still being CUTE. <3

I think we are all kinda alternative.

I read a lot about many things, I´m sometimes a romantic or a maniac. I like to wear vintage fashion like from the 50s or 60s but more like a Rockabilly girl and listen to post hardcore or really loud music and go to gigs but also I´m a kindergarten teacher and act like an ordinary teacher with the secret of loving toys and children stuff.

I guess I´ve got my own style and changes; vintage for work, gothic for daddy and kawaii for my princess time. Anyway I enjoy painting and writing a lot. I´ve got thousands of sketch books and poetry books.

I´m currently watching Grimm, Supernatural, Doctor Who, Agents of SHIELD and The following. Love supernatural and bloody stuff but also cience and space.

Guess I´m a bit of everything.

I guess I'm a bit alternative? I like cutesy things--hello kitty & pink, sparkly, things--but I also like comic books, video games, & lots of spooky things like goosebumps & are you afraid of the dark. It really depends on my mood.

The same goes with my choice in clothing style; it can be full of pastels, or gothy, or geeky, depending on how I feel that day.

I'm not sure how "alternative" I am, but I've been struggling a bit with the girlie=little notion.

I know there isn't a right way to be little, but it seems like the majority of little girls like pink and sparkles and that kind of stuff. I do have my girly moments, but I'm also drawn to different little things like storybooks, art making, and getting messy outdoors which have nothing to do with looks. So I guess I'm struggling with feeling like I don't *look* little when I'm not girly...if that makes sense. Usually I'm only comfortable to dress super girly with my PJs.

Even reading the bedroom thread made me feel out of place because I'd probably paint my own bedroom white or Seafoam green with golden accents- no pink walls for this little one!

I'm the same!! I do like pink & glitter etc, but I don't really like being called a princess and things, and I like to get messy and things.

I'd also probably not paint my room pink, probably a light cream/off white, so you're definitely not alone!!!

I'm alternative I guess but I totally agree with some of the points here; there is no "real way" to be a lg/lb. I'm a middle more than a little but I do enjoy a variety of things book and tv-wise. But when I am in middle space, I do prefer Pastel Goth and Harajuku things!
