Musicaldom Posted January 15, 2022 Report Posted January 15, 2022 So im posting this cause, im not feeling quite like myself things happening recently has made my mental health crash and burn, i feel as if i lost the dom side of me because of how bad things turned and i wanted to ask how other doms get into the right headspace when they get knocked out if it like that, ive started feeling better over the last few weeks and i still like the dom side of me is missing so any advice from doms who have felt similar would be nice
Dutch Daddy Bear Posted January 16, 2022 Report Posted January 16, 2022 Shortest possible answer; get yourself back on track; - Deal with the issues that need to be dealt with, - maintain a healthy sleep rhythm, - drink enough water, - eat healthy and varied, - exercise(even 10 minutes is better than none), - take care of your personal hygiene(shower, brush your teeth, wash your hair, cut your nails, groom your bodyhair if you like) - cut back on any alcohol, junk food, marihuana that you might consume & - last but not least talk with people, dont have to be a lot, you dont have to make it specific, but tell them you are struggling with some aspects in life and trying to improve yourself. Ask for advice, ask for help when you need it. Sometimes in life you are competing, sometimes you are surviving. Both require a different mindset. Right now it sounds your focus on surviving, in which it is most important not to make things a competition. You will get there again, without a doubt. You will get back to that state of mind where you feel mentally and physically capable and then I am sure that what you are looking for will also resurface. Good luck! 1

Vampiress Posted January 23, 2022 Report Posted January 23, 2022 This can happen to littles too, and I think the best you can do right now is focus on your self-care. Make sure all your cups are filled and that you're in a better place overall. Stress and other related things can really put a damper on one's headspace. Be patient and kind with yourself and try to sort through the things that you feel are holding you back or getting in your way. You might not be able to figure it out right away, so that's why it's important to be patient with yourself. 1
