Witchy things....

I'm a Little, I hang out around 4 years old. I was a witch for a long time, but "fell away" for a decade.

All my old things are gone. I'm "remaking" my altar. I've decided to get a pewter or sterling silver toddler cup as my chalice. I'm thinking of finding a small pacifier in some stone that calls to me as a pendulum. I haven't figured out the rest in detail.

What do you do?

And do you have a strong connection with a doll that is part of you and part of your practice?

Curious....

I've got quite a few crystals, rocks, and stones, though my alter has fluctuated in design over the years. Recently started to understand my little side. But I tell you every time I step into a metaphysical shop it brings out my little side and the childlike wonder of all the Magick and mystical things waiting. All the pretty stones. Tarot cards. And books.

And I had a doll, though not what one would think of in relation to the craft. She was a part of me. And the more energy spent in shaping her the more it mirrored in myself as well.

I've got a stuffie familiar!
I also put some sigils in my coloring pages, underneath the actual color!
I'm also a spirit worker, and stuffies usually are the vessels for my spirit family and spirit companions!

I just followed the guidelines for one here:

So I went with a more intuitive approach. Whatever felt right. I included all the elements. I used dried flowers in a bowl to represent air, plant life to represent earth, my Disneyland snow globe for water, and a rainbow candlestick in a candle holder to represent fire. I included my spirit animals like the dolphin. Someone gave me a Himalayan salt lamp shaped as a dolphin as a gift, so that's on there. I have a little fairy and mermaid statue, various shaped crystals I put in whatever way felt right, and some tarot and oracle cards that represented the energy I wanted to bring in. There's a couple pieces of symbolic jewelry on there as well. My chalice is an iridescent blue cup I got awhile ago. I always put a plant on it whether it's wild flowers I find (I love honeysuckle in the Spring), or ones I buy like purple orchids. For October, I just put a tiny pumpkin.

And no, never done the whole doll thing.

Hello! I am a Witchy little (middle) as well, as you can likely tell by my username. (Ha!) I have been learning about and practicing witchcraft for almost 25 years now. I haven't really thought about my little side playing into my spirituality at all, but I think my playful witchy spirit and goth-kid nature blend nicely where my style is concerned. I've worn nothing but black for so long that incorporating pink over the last year has felt odd and also a bit naughty. I love it.

I don't have specific dolls or toys that I affiliate with my practice or spirituality, but I LOVE witch figures and dolls! Sure, I have more serious statuary and beautiful altar and devotional pieces for prayer or shrine areas, but I just LOVE figurines and dolls of witches. I always have. I think there's a separation for me between Witch and little in some ways. When I feel my most Witchy I feel seductive, powerful, like All That is Woman... and this is usually when I'm doing a ritual or dealing with herbs, potions, writing in my Grimoire or BOS, etc. I guess my little side kicks in when I feel more like a Silly Witch... when I want to dress up in stripey stockings sit on the couch with Daddy watching Hocus Pocus or something. I guess there's a balance of both.

I LOVE A GOOD WITCHY LITTLES THREAD! Let's keep it going.
