I would never approach them. That feels very inappropriate. I'm autistic, and so I can seem very childish at times. But I'm a mommy! So imagine all the autistic people who are simply not involved in the community at all! As a fellow bean with Autism who is a daddy on this end I can agree that Autism has that initial “distinction” for lack of a better term 1
Erasmeus71 Posted February 26, 2023 Report Posted February 26, 2023 The problem is for autistic community like above. As I have spent 7 years in there rooms. Some would feel comfortable with stim toys, Pacifiers, Stuff toys. Incontinence panties would be worn as some had that issue. That is hypossentive. While I am opposite and have hypersentive which triggered my epilepsy. Some sensory stuff bothers me while those on opposite want that noise. I am neurodivergent.

Fair enough my sensitivity is in my hearing and physical touch… used to be panic attack levels but I’ve been getting better at remaining calm. Actually developed acute Haphephobia (fear of physical touch) from my sensativities 1

Or: "CGL & FL Lover". I really like this idea!! 😄 1

Kittyara207 Posted April 11, 2023 Report Posted April 11, 2023 I have been approached a few times before I knew it was a thing. But as of figuring things out I've been approached once. And one guy on a plane didn't ask straight forward but...he was unlucky to sit next to me and I was scared he thought my excitement was cute. They had tvs on the plane. I couldn't decide what to watch at first. And which flavor lollipop would be best. Then came snack time I got chocolate and apple juice he offered me his chocolate too. And his armrest if I got reeeeallllyyyyy scared. I had hoped to see him on my next flight.
