Long distance little

My daddy and I are currently doing the long distance thing. (Pouty face) I will hopefully get to see him next month and then be able to visit him early next year. I am looking for ideas to help us connect. We call and video chat and message back and forth constantly, but aside from that, I wanted to see if anyone had any creative ideas on how to really be in touch with our dynamic or just cute ways to keep things exciting and fun when we are apart. I colored him a picture last night to mail him. I hadn’t done that before and am excited for him to be able to put it on the fridge! I’m open to any ideas! Thanks in advance!

I used to travel a lot, globally and in the United States. The Internet age is handy for distance closeness. 

1. Screen share movies over Discord calls or Skype. 

2. If you're into video calls you can color or share Sunsets, Sunrises, etc.

3. Long as it's not too distracting, if someone is at work. I randomly send cute, and XXXX Hot Gifs to My girl. 

4.If either of us has a long drive, 1-3 hours or driving long distance we call each other for companionship. Easier to stay awake with someone you love in your ears.

Definitely gonna echo the screen sharing movies bit, my partner is away for a few days each week, and movies have definitely been something that helps the time pass. Some people are into long distance dates/adventures, like maybe your partner can video call you and show you around their city and vice versa, although I've never did it it sounds fun. Coloring contests between the two of you. Maybe you guys can bake together while video calling. Story time over call. All of those sound nice to me!

Thank you! I like those ideas! The movie idea sounds fun. I know there are movies he has seen and likes that I haven’t seen yet. We are on different time zones which makes it a bit difficult but we do have a few hours that are free time matches up to make some of those happen.

Those are good ideas! I like the bed time stories idea! I usually go to bed before he gets up but I always wake up hoping I have a message then he puts me back to sleep. I think that would be a really nice way to go back to sleep. Then maybe I wouldn’t fight it so much lol. Thank you!

I've made my Long Distance Daddy a care package before now, with a few of his favourite things in like sweeties and stuff, somethings i have made / drawn / coloured, a small stuffy sprayed with my favourite perfume etc

I like that idea! I just colored a picture for my daddy and was thinking of spraying perfume on it before I mail it. Maybe I will collect some more things to send as well. Thank you!!!
