Bebe boo Posted September 27, 2021 Report Posted September 27, 2021 ive got bad anxiety and i also get burnout whenever I'm away from home and it often leads to full on panic attacks and needing to sleep and not being able to focus on the books ive taken to occupy myself. there are certain items that would help to soothe me but I can't take them out in public for obvious reasons. I've seen no one else doing it either. It hits me realy hard and the effects last for days and ruin my mood and wellbeing so I don't know what to do to prevent this happening to me burnout happens every time
♡ マリィ ♡ Posted September 27, 2021 Report Posted September 27, 2021 I've literally taken stuffed animals on planes with me before! What if you got something like a fidget cube, or a cute keychain stuffie you can squeeze/hug when you're out? Is there an item in particular that you find too embarrassing to take out? I hope you feel better soon
Vampiress Posted September 29, 2021 Report Posted September 29, 2021 You can get a worry stone to have in your pocket or something, they also make them on pendants so you can rub it when you're stressing. No one would find that weird at all. I've thought about wanting to get one myself because it seems like it could be very soothing. 1
