Training pants?

Hiii I was wondering if anyone here has used training pants before I’ve seen them on Amazon and got curious. I wouldn’t use them and I’m not into diapers but thought the padding and aesthetic would help me get into little space.

Questions:

What is your opinion on them

Are they comfortable

Is the sizing the same as your underwear would be

Hello :)! Butt hug diaper/pull-up connoisseur here! I can try to help answer any questions you have and hopefully what I do know helps!

By training pants do you mean like a pull-up style? There are also some specifically made for bedwetters to be worn at night and then there are training pants for potty training or adult sizes for bladder leaks.

Most adults can fit into a brand called “GoodNites” in size L-XL. I’ve heard someone up to 160lb could still wear them comfortably, but it may vary for height too. I myself like these a lot because I’ve dealt with incontinence issues and they are very comfy in my opinion. You can find this and the generic versions at Target, Walmart and most drug stores :) They have very cute designs littles would like too! If you are very very petite you may be able to fit in a 4T-5T.

If you are looking for a more accurate fit though, brands like Depends and Always have a sizing chart on the package based on weight. These are usually more generic looking or some have like a basic panty design. They are made to be more discreet so are thinner and wear much like panties. Alternatively there are Etsy shops that make fabric training pants in very cute designs and they can be used multiple times.

Differences of training pant / pull-ups vs. diapers:

-the side seams are “sealed” and there are no tabs or sticky bits. It can be torn open for them to be easy to take off, but it also means if you move around too much it can cause a rip.

-Less padding/filling. Most are meant for leaks/bed wetters so they will not hold as much liquid, such as a full bladder. Not a problem if you don’t intend on “using” then though!

-Lower waistband. The fit is a bit lower, similar to underpants, whereas a diaper goes up to almost the bellybutton.

Ah I see what you mean ^^. I forgot about the Rearz since I know them to be mainly diapers, but the training underpants are a newer product.

The sizing I think will depend on the store, but it seems most are made with stretchy fabric and elastic bands. Those will help give a little extra room or tightness if needed.

i'm late to this party, but you might also like the idea of disposable underwear!

it comes in a lot of cute styles + colors, gives off the same vibe that you're looking for

but feels a little more middle-space?

either way, thought i'd offer!
