Little kaiya Posted August 7, 2021 Report Posted August 7, 2021 For the past two weeks I've been vacationing out in the Eastern provinces of Canada. On Tuesday we had the chance to do tidal bore rafting which was absolutely incredible. I had taken off my day collar as the current is insanely strong. Once we got back everyone was changing in the parking lot and my day collar felt out and sadly we didn't notice until later on the 2 hr drive home. I was absolutely devastated and telling my Daddy was heartbreaking. My day collar is like my engagement ring so losing it was horrible. Daddy was amazing. He comforted me, calmed me down and focused on how we could try and find it. When we couldn't He quickly reached out to the person who had made it and ordered another. He wasn't mad or disappointed but focused on the fact accidents happen, physical things may break but our relationship and feelings are forever. What is still sad and heartbreaking was turned into something reaffirming and that has strengthened our relationship. Loving, caring and understanding Daddies can just totally change situations and turn them around. 5

Istrawberry Posted August 8, 2021 Report Posted August 8, 2021 I'm so glad something that was negativ was able to be turned into something that will strengthen your relationship even further and I think it shows greatly, what a good daddy you have. I wish you two all happiness and hope you stay together forever/for a long time
ApathyRefined Posted August 9, 2021 Report Posted August 9, 2021 That is the definition of being a good daddy and I'm glad you have one. This part in particular: "What is still sad and heartbreaking was turned into something reaffirming and that has strengthened our relationship. Loving, caring and understanding Daddies can just totally change situations and turn them around." I feel like at the end of the day that is a great gauge of a fantastic daddy.
