AsianCG Posted July 25, 2021 Report Posted July 25, 2021 Hello! I'm very new to the world of ddlg and I really want to dive deeper into this. My little has been very stressed and finds that getting into their little space really helps them relax.I was wondering if anyone has any advice to help their littles get into their little space? Both things for a daddy to do for their littles and things littles can do to help them get into their little space.Any advice would be helpful! Thanks in advance.
JMAlexandre Posted July 25, 2021 Report Posted July 25, 2021 Humm, I imagine it can differ from little to little, what she/them like as with most things, however from personal experience, acting playful with their stuffies/plushies with them, incentivizing to do coloring, snuggle time with a Disney like movie, pillow/blanket fort (not very fun for summer time) , running a little bath with bath bombs, toys etc and dressing her, little videogames....the list goes on. Some of these you can obviously participate or let her do on her own time. That said, you may want to start to ask what your little actually likes, communication is always the way to go or just try things to see what ticks and go from there, it will be very evident 1
AsianCG Posted July 25, 2021 Author Report Posted July 25, 2021 Thanks so much for the advice!Coincidently my little just got some coloring books today. We'll have to try some of the things you suggested.Communication has always been a big thing for us. Both of us are still figuring out what we like and don't like.
DerbyNerd Posted September 23, 2021 Report Posted September 23, 2021 The biggest thing that Daddy does to help me when I'm stressed is making decisions for me. He might do something like handing me my bunny and telling me to watch some tv while he makes me a snack or runs me a bath - it pretty much immediately reduces my stress levels and gets me right into a nice little space.
