I just wanted to warn other littles/caregivers about something.

I was a part of the Reddit community and participated in the r/ddlg and r/ddlgpersonals subreddits quite regularly.

Well, tonight, the mods of r/ddlgpersonals sent me a message accusing me of being underage and asked me to verify. Okay, fine, I can do that. But less than an hour later, they permanently banned me. I confront them about it and they can give me no good reason except "you didn't verify quick enough." So after it's clear they're not gonna unban me, I decide to post on r/ddlg about it and ask for suggestions on what alternative subs to post on to find a daddy. They banned me too.

So! I'm done with Reddit! And I highly advise anyone else to avoid it at all costs. It's toxic.

Just to give you a taste of something... there was a personals post that consisted ENTIRELY of this "daddy" describing himself giving an enema to a little. An enema. Wtf does that have to do with DDLG??? That kind of post will stay up but they will ban me for minding my own business.

/endrant.

That is absolutely horrifying. It sounds like bullying tbh.

Unfortunately if something is independently ran with hand picked Mods , they have the right to refuse service to anyone. The internet is like going into a grocery store , if someone that works at the store thinks the customer is acting suspicious they have every right to ask them to leave and refuse service for their own protection and the protection of employees/ other customers. Being a minor is something that most sites take EXTREMELY seriously , so even if you are of age , if they had any gut feeling at all they you aren’t … it’s for their own safety. It’s sucks , but it’s just what happens. I would rather have a site be over diligent than not care at all.

It honestly sounds no different than FetLife , the enema part anyways. This lifestyle is under a Bdsm umbrella and is sexual for a LOT of people. Sex and DDlg go hand in hand for some people , hence fetishes like enemas. While it’s not your taste , it doesn’t make it wrong. It sounds like you might just be upset because you got banned and because you don’t agree with that , it just ruffled your feathers even more seeing things you don’t agree with while you’re on the sideline after being banned. I just don’t think it’s necessarily fair to make it seem like someone’s fetish is dirty because you disagree or got banned , there’s plenty of freaky fetish people on this site too.. and making it seem like things are gross or dirty or invalidating someone saying this “daddy” , like he’s not a real daddy just because he’s got a little taboo kink… it doesn’t rub people the right way. That guys not the one who banned you , so why tear him down ? Just a genuine question. It just seems unfair to a total stranger who might be a member here as well.. it would probably suck for someone who’s just another dude on the internet opening up about his kinky shit feeling judged when he didn’t even do anything ^-^; just food for thought.

I’m sure it’s a shitty feeling , but just keep your head up. If you proved you’re of age and they still banned you , that’s on them not you. There’s plenty of other DDlg websites , even more than just this site and tons of people have accounts on almost every DDlg platform. Fetlife , DDlg world , DDlg friends , discord groups , this site , ect.

im sorry to say but this is not the first nor expected to be the last of reddit as a site attracting some honestly insane people, i personally visit reddit to catch up on the ama's and to see memes but even then there is no escaping reddit being a cesspool

Totally feel you on the mixed vibes with Reddit. It's like a rollercoaster of interesting AMA's and memes but then bam, you stumble upon some wild stuff. It's a reminder that every online space has its share of craziness. If you're into online safety, digitalforensics.com has some great tips. It's a jungle out there, but with the right tools, you can navigate it a bit better.

I’ll never go on Reddit again.  Last week I was contacted by a person who said they were a 24 year old female.  Then they said they were a 17 year old female, and finally said they were a 16 year old male.  Our chat was very very brief and I told them how wrong that was and they are opening people up to criminal charges. It literally  made me sick in my stomach.

I'm sorry that happened to you OP. Reddit can be a hot mess.

(but enemas can be a part of medical play, which a lot of CG/l couples engage in. i feel like we age players are among the most shamed of kinksters, so i try not to judge, as long as something is legal and consensual between adults)
