Guest Account deleted Posted June 10, 2021 Report Posted June 10, 2021 Hello ! I would like to share something with you that I really enjoy making: drawing and coloring maps. Maybe that is an activity that you might enjoy too? The idea is pretty simple: I create an island, I decide where things go (trees, waterfalls, etc.), then I try to give cute names to each spot like on a real map (it's not easy in English!). This is a map I drew earlier this week when I was in Little Space, but I find that it's a good activity for other times too, I've been enjoying it for quite a long time now and I find it relaxing. I hope you like this idea and if you give it a try,I would love to see what you guys come up with! Please share your creations! Xxx - Bee 3
Lollipox Posted June 10, 2021 Report Posted June 10, 2021 YES! I LOVE THIS! I’ve loved drawing maps since I was about 7 and read the Hobbit. I especially like your Snuggle Spot. It’s all so bright and colourful. 1
Guest Teasing Tink Posted June 10, 2021 Report Posted June 10, 2021 This is so cool and adorable! And I love how the island is shaped like a whale. What a great idea. The last time I made a map was when I was a kid after my older sister told me to make one because she claimed Candy Land was on our street and she said we could get there by talking to Mother Nature (a tree down the block). But there was a witch too. She said she was gonna dress up as a witch and scare me in the middle of the night while I was sleeping, but didn't. What a troll lol. I just liked the imagination of it all so went along with it. Anyways, I'll have to make my own maps. 2
Vampiress Posted June 11, 2021 Report Posted June 11, 2021 What a cute and creative project! Would've never thought of something like this. I think the mermaid is my favorite, she's so pretty! Her tail reminds me of Earth with the blues and greens. Also the Sulking Little Island is so adorable. By the way, I notice you mention a lot about English being difficult for you, but as someone who is a native English speaker I must say that your writing (including spelling, grammar, punctuation) is better than a lot of native English speakers. Plus, do you have any idea how smart you are knowing more than one language fluently? Heckin' smart! All those different writing rules and vocabulary floating around in your head, you're an intelligent little bee! I am jealous of your talent! 1

Why, I'm sure glad she didn't scare you in the middle of the night dressed up as a witch oh gosh!! I agree, all these stories and ideas that just popped out of our imagination as kids, it was so creative and extraordinary..!! Personally, it is all what my Little Space is about: being free to create a world and play in it!

Thank you so much for the very kind compliment, I am sure you have no clue how much it means to me!! I do feel so self-conscious about my English. Thank you for taking the time to encourage me and recognize my efforts, I appreciate it very much! And I am very glad you like the map project too! 1
