Blueybluex Posted May 30, 2021 Report Posted May 30, 2021 So my daddy and I have decided to set up a reward chart for me but I don’t know where to start! He said to put things on there like drinking my water, taking my vitamins, but what else do you all put on yours? What kind of board do you use? He liked the idea of gold stars when I’m a good girl, do you guys marks on yours when you’ve missed your task? Do you use a wipe board or something else? Thanks all! I did Google old posts but I wanted to see what recent ideas people have! thanks 1
LittlePupRune Posted May 30, 2021 Report Posted May 30, 2021 Charts are good to keep track of stuff you both this is important that would benefit from having reinforcement. With a previous little I had daily and weekly tasks. Daily included taking the dog on a walk, cleaning the litter box, brushing teeth, doing homework, and weekly had things like taking all the dishes out of their room, doing the dishes, cleaning their room, sweeping, changing sheets, laundry. Things like that as they needed help focusing. You could add watering plants or taking care of pets if thats applicable, maybe an exercise if you're trying to create a habit. We did the chart as a spreadsheet so we could update it whenever in case we weren't home, plus we did not live together, so it made it possible that they could just text me what they did and I could mark it off and they could go on and see what's been checked off for the day/week. 1
