Hi lovely people! :)

Do you guys like paper dolls? I do! :)

I really needed to get creative this weekend.. It was a long week (*insert proportionally long rambling*) and finally yesterday afternoon I got to play with my colored pencils and scissors and I wanted to play with new toys at the same time and I thought... Oh - what about a cute paper doll that I could draw myself, and then what about designing clothes and stuff...? Oh the thought was exciting!  :D  Well, it was a much longer project than I thought it would be but WOW my brain just turned off and I just found myself enjoying the relaxing creativity and it was fun!!!

Now... As you can see.. I was tired and went for the basic stuff... A little doll.. A dress.. A T-shirt :3 I mean, don't get me wrong, I AM proud of the result.. but I didn't really try anything new. I tend to be pretty girly when I'm sleepy!

But what about you creative people??? What would you come up with? Princesses? Aliens? Simpsons-like or South Park or Sailor Moon characters? What clothes would you design? Fancy gowns? Kawaii sweaters? Uniforms? Dinosaur costume?  :D If you like paper dolls, please give it a try and share!

Hi hi!

You did an absolute amazing job with those paper dolls!! I secretly wish sometimes that the creations that I make come to live because that would be so cool!!! I have a top model book, I don’t know if anyone is familiar with those but they are silhouettes as well and you get to decide their outfit and hair and accessories and it’s so much fun! I have a lot of gel pens and glitter pens that I design their outfits with and they give you stickers as well for accessories! My designs are usually based on what I would wanna wear: so a bunch of cute stuff, pastel colours and loooooooaaadss of sparkles and glitter!!

I also like to design fancy ball gowns- those really long, elegant, sophisticated princess looking gowns- they are soooo pretty!

It’s great to see you have so much fun with this!

Hey Bbubbless! :)

Oh thank you! ♥ Yes I think I know what a Top Model book is..  The silhouettes appear in very pale grey and you actually do have to draw and color your own outfits. It's super creative!! PLEASE please don't be shy and share your designs, I would love to see them, and if you don't already know.. I love everything sparkles and glitters !!! :3 ♥

I have a booklet with Disney Princesses Top Model... They're only paper dolls really and the outfits are stickers, so basically I just stick the different clothes on the matching Princess, add accessories and little rhinestones.. It's cute, but not as creative.

If you don't mind, I really want to see the cute stuff and pastel colors and glitters and all!! That's my kind of stuff!!  :D

I love paperdolls!  (...) Crafty_Pink_Bee your paperdoll looks adorable and it sounds like you had loads of fun

Thank you super much!! :) Oh that's awesome that you were able to find these paper dolls, I can understand that trying to draw your own can be a bit intimidating. Since you're a paper doll lover like me, do you happen to know/have some good books as well? I have a collection of Usborne sticker books with outfits from different eras (Victorian, post WW2, the 1960s, the 1980s etc...) it is a lot of fun and there is actually some pretty interesting info about fashion and all, but I am always interested in finding new books or ressources, so please feel free to share! :) Thanks again for the lovely compliment! ^_^

I super love paper dolls! My Mum showed me her vintage ones when I was a kid, and I've loved them ever since!

( u ) It's exciting to see someone else who loves them too!

Yours are really cute. Good work.

These are my magnetic dolls I maked a few weeks ago. I only take close-up of the clown one because it's my favourite. ^^

I am looking fwd to Halloween to make costumes for them. These are the testers (they smol), the finished ones are a lil bit bigger.I even maked cute packaging for them.

My OG discord group (WSS) had a dressup sockdoll, and anyone artsy in the group could open up their own store to make and sell items for them to earn server currency (Rabies Coins bwehehe).

None of us have made anything or played around with them in about a year, so I fink it's okay if I show the items I made?

NSFW warning, cuz DDlg/BDSM themed items.

Thenkyou so much! \(^ º ^)/

And I 'spose I could mebbe sell them, eventually. Idk, I get rly shy (even though I try not to be).

Cuz even if m proud of something I make, I feel nervous and like it's not good enough for other people.

Which normally doesn't matter, but when it comes to the exchange of money it does. ^^ Cuz I don't want people to waste their money on something if it's not the very best I can possibly do. I'd feel bad.

My favourite outfit for your doll so far is the rainbow dress. ^^ Do you like Rainbow Brite? the old cartoon

Oh I can totally understand that ! :) Selling your own creations can be very intimidating. But you shouldn't let that stop you.. I would suggest to start with close friends, you could sell your items with a discount in exchange for productive feedback. It would help you to feel more confident and it would allow you to adjust/improve your products till you feel 100% sure you're ready to sell them to people you don't know.

I know Rainbow Brite! :) Unfortunately I have never had an opportunity to watch a full episode..!! And that's a shame. Because I love the design, colors and cuteness there. Right now I am quite obsessed with the Kindi Kids show lol it's so super cute too! Have you ever heard of it?
