On our first big trip together, we stopped for a break from driving at a little mini mart.  She waited in the car right outside while I went inside to get us an ice cream treat.  Then I asked the sales guy if there was a park nearby I could take my little girl to eat it.

 

When I got back in the car I told her that and she just LOVED it!  She loved the idea of being my little girl, being taken to the park by Daddy.  We had played with the idea of Daddy before, but that just cemented it and took it to a whole new level.

 

Oh, and that was 18 years ago, and she's still my little girl, and she's made me a Daddy in every way now cuz we have a little we made together too
