Mini Portable Little Space Pouch? :)

Last week, I learned about "Emergency Panic Bags"... It's a bag in which you will find all the things you need when you feel extra anxious and that will help you calm down and focus on happy things to read, smell, touch and play with. It gave me an idea. I know we often already carry our favorite little things around all day, maybe a lovely little mug, heart-shaped notebook, cute socks etc. etc.… But…

 

But sometimes life gets a little bit dull, responsibilities get repetitive, work gets tedious, or just plain boring and.. you don't exactly feel anxious but you sure could use a break to breathe and enter your Little Space a few minutes for a well-deserved energizing wiggle-with-happy-feelings time.

 

So I created my first mini portable Little Space pouch. It's different from the cute stuff I usually have with me. It's really small enough to be carried anywhere and it is filled to the brim with little creative things that I like. Because my Little Space is all about creativity. IT MAY NOT BE THE THINGS THAT YOU LIKE BUT THAT'S OK. What I put in there brings a smile on my face and just having it with me makes me feel good. I can't always be in Little Space, but I have my Little Space bubble with me and it helps. It contains: a cute little note pad, pencil, eraser, a glitter gel pen, a set of mini markers, little things to color (fishes!), Plus Plus blocks and stickers. 

 

What would you put in your own mini portable Little Space pouch? 

Do you already have one? What does it look like?

I dont have like a specific little space portable pouch but i do have a little pouch that i keep sensory stuff in, and some other things for my sensory issues so it can work for that too

This is such a good idea though ill have to keep it in mind

Thank you so much Lambchop for letting me know!!  I think you've just made my day!! ♥ I love Plus blocks too, actually today I am supposed to get a new tube in the mail, the Plus blocks in girly colors, with pink and glitters OMG hahaha!   Are there other building blocks that you enjoy too? I'm a fan of legos, geomags.. etc.. If you make your own Little Space pouch, can you please post a picture too? I love legos! Right now most of the ones I've got are buildings from around the world and they are all on shelves up high put together.  I want to get the Hogwarts Castle and the Disney Castle but but both are REALLY expensive.

This looks absolutely amazing!!! I don't necessarily have a "little space pouch" but I do have a pouch with things that I think I will need in case of an emergency or in case something happens. I have this little Alice in wonderland pouch and I keep basic first aid things in there (I like to be organized and have these things with me at all times because I'm a major overthinker) + little snackies in case I am hungry or need something to munch on.

This made me smile, I think it's great + I am such a fan of Alice :3 ♥ ♥ ♥ I do love having little things like that with me in my bag too, I think it reassures us to have them with us, little things we are familiar with and that bring comfort and give us good feelings. Even if it gets overwhelming outside, we're never completely lost when we have our little pouch with us!! Awww we're cute! :3

This is a super cute idea! I would put stickers, small pictures of things that make me happy, mini colored pencils/crayons (Dollar Tree!) and my mini Pusheen coloring book that my little friend got me in mine! Ooooh and my mini squishy!

When I was in therapy we learned about making little emergency pouches to carry with us, with at least 1 small object for each one of our 5 senses, to help regulate emotions in a crisis, whether it's to calm down or to escape for a bit, so it's a bit related to this concept I think!

Your pouch is SO so cute and lovely and awesome! I can definitely see you're very creative!

Last year there were some Winnie the Pooh pouches at Daiso-- I wish I bought it because it would've been so perfect for this! I actually don't carry a bag (I just carry my phone and wallet only) so I don't have a little pouch. But if I did, this is probably what I would put in it!...

- a small fidget toy

- a few shaped beads/buttons, like flowers or hearts

- one small pack of fruit gummies/gummy candies!

- one or two hairclips

- a cute flavored lip balm, like Lip Smackers
