Since I see people posting stories and poems here I thought might as well post something to break the ice.

                                   Private Number

-This is the recorded transcript of the Newville Incident-

911 Operator: 911 what's your emergency?

Caller: -out of breath- There's something wrong with my house.

911 Operator: I'm going to need you to calm down sir, and explain what you mean.

Caller: -short deep breaths- Okay...There's something wrong with my house...Like I think there might be someone here.

911 Operator:You mean, there's an intruder?

Caller: Yes...No...I Don't Know! -breathes- I...I was hearing noises downstairs.

911 Operator: Are you somewhere safe right now?

Caller: Yeah I locked myself in my closet. -pause- I don't think I hear it anymore.

911 Operator: You were saying you heard noises downstairs? Like footsteps?

Caller: No.No. I don't know how to describe it... If it was footsteps I'd also hear a creak follow after the steps. My wood floors are really old. It was more of a.... basketball hitting against a wall sound, but muffled.

-Long Pause-

911 Operator: Sir? Sir, are you still there?

Caller: Yeah, I just had grab a charger.

911 Operator: Sir, I'm going to need you to calm down. I'm going to need your name and address for me to send an officer to your location.

Caller: Okay.. -Clears Throat- J**** S********, 11 T***E Drive, Newville, 0***1.

911 Operator: An officer is on his way. Until he arrives I'm going to need you to stay on the phone with me okay?

J.S.: -breathes- Yeah, Okay.

911 Operator: Now, can you tell me any other information, such as what you were doing before the thumping?

J.S.: Okay. -breathes- I really don't remember much. All I know is that I was the sound woke me up.

911 Operator: Then what else happened?

J.S.: At first the sound was coming from outside. I thought it was the neighbors throwing a party again so I just went back to sleep, but then I started to get a headache. I checked out my window to see if the sound was my neighbors, but their lights were off... Not only that all of the lights were off... -pause- Actually...all of the lights were off, all of neighbors and the streetlights. Not only that there was some sort of fog or haze outside, so I couldn't see much.

911 Operator: The officers are nearing your development, sir. They said there's no fog and the streetlights are on.

J.S.: Well, there's no windows in my closet so i guess the lights are back to normal.

911 Operator: The officer has arrived at your street. He says he can't find your house. It's only a vacant lot.

J.S.: What!? -heavy breathing- That's doesn't make sense! I moved into this house a few months ago!

911 Operator: Is there anyway for you to look outside and check for a police car?

J.S.: Yeah hold on. -sound of a door opening- I'm looking out the window now. It still looks as before, except the fogs getting more heavier.

911 Operator: Can you check for police lights or a police car?

J.S.: I'm checking, I don't see a police car or...any cars...wait. The street lamp across the street just started flickering...Oh, shit. -sound of running and a door shutting-

911 Operator: Sir, are you still there?? What happened??

J.S.: -panicked breathing- I saw something.

911 Operator: I'm going to need you to calm down again and explain to me what you seen.

J.S.: -whispering- A person...no wait..something. I don't really know how to describe it. It looked like a person, but its head.. it had no face. It was like, skin stitched together. -panicked breathing intensifies- I think it saw me.

911 Operator: I need you to calm down again and stay on the phone.

J.S.: -crying- I'm so scared.

911 Operator: It's going to be okay J****, is it okay if I call you that?

J.S.: It's back, the thumping is back!

911 Operator: Is it from the same location?

J.S.: -hysterical- No! It's outside my room! It's faster and louder! It sounds like a heartbeat!

911 Operator: Okay J****, is there anything else you can tell me about your location.

J.S.: NO! I already fucking told you everything! -Scream- Oh God It's Outside!

911 Operator: J****, I need you to cal-

J.S.: NO! STAY THE FUCK AWAY FROM ME! -phone gets thrown- -distant- No! stay away! please do- -call cuts off- -Pause-

911 Operator: Hello? J*? J*, are you still there?

Phone: -automated voice- I'm sorry, the number you have reached is not in service.

This reminds me of a REALLY good Creepypasta I read a while ago, but it was all done via AIM instead of 911 call. I love things like this. This story was really good. Great grammar, no errors. And chilling. It kept me captivated. I loved it.

Really good loved it, would be cool if there was more to it, like a police report stating they check the house and found a skeleton in the wardrobe and a broken phone on the other side of the room
