YourRoughCaringDaddy Posted March 31, 2021 Report Posted March 31, 2021 Well i think it's great that you finally found ways to be with yourself and be yourself, going into the little space. And since we have come to terms with the changes that the Lockdown enforced on us, now we can start to routine other things according to this. And you starting with little things is a good way to start. At the end of every day, there should be a point or time which you save for yourself. Just you and no other disturbances, and the time should be usually at the end of the day, because in the middle you will always have something or the other Goin im your mind and lots of things to think about, either work or whatever. So pick a time accordingly, and make it habit.. Where you can let go of all the work and tensions. And just focus on yourself. Your little space. Idk if that made any sense. Take care
Guest EmpressStar Posted March 31, 2021 Report Posted March 31, 2021 It did make a lot of sense. Thank you very much! I will try that and update. 1
Spooky Posted March 31, 2021 Report Posted March 31, 2021 Having your personal space become your workspace is not ideal. A few things I have done is establish boundaries for what is an acceptable workspace, and keep that separate from Spooky personal spaces. I also find that bath time can be the easiest time to really unwind. That space is full of cute toys and bubbles and only things that makes me feel like me. Just keep building up boundaries to protect that sacred part of your life. Best of luck
DaddysMonkey Posted March 31, 2021 Report Posted March 31, 2021 (edited) Hi Empress! know with COVID restrictions it might be more difficult depending on your area and how tightly things are being ran... but usually parks right now are open. I would suggest trying to take specific time to leave the house to feel little. There isn’t really much people out and about right now. A park picnic with some cute snacks , a blanket , and a coloring book in a more private area might help you out. Hell , even just in the back yard if you don’t want to be around people. I’m unsure of what you do for work even if it’s at home for the time being. Is it a job where you have literally no days off ? I would also suggest taking one of your days off to dedicate strictly to trying to get into your headspace. Edited March 31, 2021 by DaddysMonkey

Parks are currently close where I'm at and regarding my work, we do get Sunday off but sometimes we have to meetings or online events even on those days and there's also a ton of paperwork and other admin work along with our main job profile. Usually, it's not a problem but because it's work from home, there's an expectation of being available for long hours to field any queries. So that is enough to make you snap back to reality.
