Little room ideas :3

Hello everybody :3

Me and my Daddy might buy our own home soon (if everything goes according to plan), and if we do I’ll finally have the space for a little room!

 

I’ve been looking around for things to decorate it with but I’d like some more ideas if anyone has any

 

I already thought about having a loft bed in there for my naps and put some curtains under it to have my very own fort.

Then I found some cute stickers for the walls and somewhere to put all my little books. And of course I wanna have an hammock for all my stuffies!

 

But other than that I can’t come up with anything else

 

any suggestions? Thank you! :3

Oooooh! This is gonna be so cool, I'm so happy for you. 

 

How about a really nice plush rug or some awesome floor cushions so that you can sit on the floor and do activities without being uncomfy. Ooooh or one of those awesome big pod beanbag things, that would be cool. Pretty lights would also be nice, and maybe like a decorative wall or ceiling? I recently saw a fluffy cloud ceiling that someone did on pintrest and they put those colour led strips under it so they could turn the clouds different colours, it was so cool.  

 

Also personally I'd want like a little storage space that was lockable for some more 'spicy' items to be kept.

I fully condone the loft bed idea ^-^ *happyclaps*

You could put a princess canopy over it, and the fabric will cascade around the sides of the loft bed.

And could use safety pins to attach fairy LED lights inside of it.

Chalkboard/Dry Erase Board

Cork-board to pin things onto

Fake plants or fake vines (which you could also tangle into some fairy lights ^^)

Glow in the dark stars on the ceiling

Storage for plushies and toys

Hang things from your ceiling

Change out your overhead light shade with something that matches your room (if it's an option)

 

Make sure you wash your walls really well before putting the stickers on. For some reason even though I cleaned my walls, my stickers still keep peeling. lol

 

Some ways to add colour without having to paint your walls-

Spray paint any picture frames to be the same colour, or matching colour schemes.

Paint furniture

Only have items on display that match in colour, and store the others away. You can always rotate them for display to change your room up. ^-^

A playmat like this would be so cute (depending on the colour scheme in the room) and having fairy lights hanging up to make the room so cute and magical!

A Projector to watch any movies or shows you like would be fun. I turned My living room into a theater with a very inexpensive projector, and a King Size White Bed sheet for the screen. I am working on building a DIY 4K projector as well.

I think a brilliant thing would be an Ames room so you could take pictures where you could really look little. Building it yourself you could place objects to perfectly set the scene.
